  • but i am not saying the ak is a bad weapon, it has supreme acuracy and is a realy nice weapon, with less recoil than a stg44 and the ak i shot was a high quality ak and not just some cheap shit to make the stg44 look supreme...

  • the AK was actualy based off the stg, if you read "with hitler to the end" he talks about that michael kalashnikov "captured" him when he was in jail (for crimes after ww2) beacuse of the fact that he stod hitler near and knew about all the projects, including the stg44 and michael wanted to know everything about this weapon, and the ak is just a "improved" version of the stg44, and i have shot with both and i prefer the stg44 beacuse of its range, i was able to hit stuff at 400-450 meters

  • They only have the same rear sight they look alike I guess but but if u actually shoot them the ak is far superior

  • STG nowhere near AK47 .... NOWHERE NEAR!!!! AK47 is an original system. You fucktards that think that if something looks similar to something else that must be a "ripoff" are nothing then bunch of faggots, who would mistake copper for gold. FAGS!

  • @Ouija1210 they use the same gas operation system same design how are they no where the same

  • @MrDip02 if you were any smart or intelligent which you are not you would know that STG operating system uses deleyaed blow back... AK47 has a totaly different principle and does not look nowhere near STG. So since you made an idiot out of yourself please do not comment here.

  • @Ouija121085 im going to make it simple (i screwed up big time im not last messages but) the stg-44 and the ak-47 are slightly similar but the mp-44 is more of a copy of the ak-47 because hugo worked at the same factory kalashnikov was when perfecting the ak-47 and he stayed there from 1946 1949 like i said the atg-44 is not completely distance but it's completely not the same basically it was more mp-44 than stg-44 basically the stg-44 could have been just a slight design of up but mp-44 was

  • @Ouija121085 part of it

  • kalishnikov is a lier. He thinks he doesn't need the truth because he has AK47s. Until the Seals break in with the much better m16.

  • @ben191209 You are a moron i'de take Ak47 anyday and rape ure seals or clubb them to death.... faggot

  • The Stg-44 Was the first weapon to bridge the gap between

the Sub-Macinegun and the Bolt action Rifle succesfully with its 7.92x33mm "Kurtz" Bullet

And is the First True "Assault Rifle".

Had the Stg-44 been put into production in 1942 when it was originally conceived

and made in sufficient Numbers, then there is no doubt it would have had a huge impact in all theatres of WW2 and beyond, negating the need for an AK-47.

But it wasnt to be and the AK became the rightful Heir to the Throne.

  • Could you two shut up?

  • @ben9DB L0L!

  • Like the Soviets weren't famous for their lies....

  • @Ralastar Shut the hell up...

  • @AssassinKid0 L0L!

  • @MP44StG44Page Personally I prefer not to prejudge the two arms, if they are reliable, no problem. Anyway I think the similarities leave little doubt that they are very confusing, and I have not seen the full video to learn a little more. Should be further investigated.

  • @AssassinKid0 Ah, no. I will not. What, are some kind of communist? From Mexico?!?!! Hahahahahaha!

  • @Ralastar And I assume that you are perhaps neo-Nazi? If I were a Communist so I would have won on my own merit being called a communist, but I don't have enough merit to even own it.

  • @AssassinKid0 No, I am not a neo-nazi. ooohhhhh, deep!!!!!!!

  • @Ralastar Then stop making impulsive comments, thoroughly investigate and reflect.

  • @AssassinKid0 HUGE GASSY CAT TURD.

  • @Ralastar Now I remember that I told you to shut up, stupid neo-nazi.

  • @AssassinKid0 I am not a neo nazi. YOU are the nazi. ANd a communist at the same time. Which you are amazing at by the way.

  • @Ralastar Communism and Nazism are two different politics in conflict and you still are a STUPID. Yeah, I'm amazing, but i don´t like your idea of the double morality: I can´t be a Communist and a Nazi at the same time, you idiot COD Fanboy. I preffer be a Socialist to reach the goal of the Communism...with my merits, of course.

  • @AssassinKid0 You're on You tube. You have no merits. Also, it is possible to be a nazi and communist at the same time. You handle it masterfully!

  • @Ralastar I'm not talking of "You Tube". I'm talking about my personal merits, not about the merits on You Tube to be a Socialist. You should learn to read the entire text and not the part for you to misrepresent. If you keep attacking me, you end up as an idiot.

  • if you strip the 2 down, the similarities are undenyable

  • no disrepect, but i think Mikhail is hyping is rifle up. He said "this rifle has a absolutely different operating princple, it has nothing to do with german automatic rifle. They have nothing in common." This is somewhat of a lie. The STG and the ak both have the same gas system, so similar operating principle. They both are select fire rifles that shoot a intermediate round (which makes them assault rifles) so they are very similar. Also, the STG is very simple, watch a dissasembly video of it.

  • @a2redneck i totally agree !

  • @MP44StG44Page yep, im tired of these die hard ak-47 fan that think the ak had nothing to do with the STG. sorry ak fans, but if the STG didn't exist nethier would the ak. Don't get me wrong the ak is a great rifle, but it came from the STG.

  • @a2redneck There are AKs for almost all calibres. The AK is all about the core mechanism, everything else can be easy changed. And this mechanism has nothing to do wit the STG.

  • @Anderas777 todays ak's (which aren't true aks) come in different calibers, but i mean the early soviet production of aks, which im talking about and what the video is talking about. "The AK is all about the core mechanism, everything else can be easy changed." I have no idea what you mean by this. "And this mechanism has nothing to do wit the STG." i explained this in my last comment.

  • @a2redneck Mikhail Kalashnikov is an man of honer. If he says that his weapon has nothing to do with the STG44 I believe him. But I don't expect that you understand this. The AK47 is a symbol of Russian superiority and a lot of people especial in the west did not like it. It is OK, it changes nothing.

  • @Anderas777 I love the AK-47. Why would you not like it, its reliable, simple and a dime a dozen, but after World War II, as General Designer of small arms for the Soviet Army, his design subordinates included the Germans Hugo Schmeisser, designer of the StG-44, and Werner Grüner. Im not saying the Ak came from the STG but it was heavily influenced by it.

  • @a2redneck True, he is telling a bit of a lie, but the M1 Garand,DP-28, and ZB vz. 26 all have a similar operating system and they came before the STG44. In terms of the concept of the assault rifle, the Soviets did indeed copy that. In terms of the actual mechanics, it's splitting hairs as I named guns that came before the STG44 that have similar operating systems.

  • @esh325 yeah your right, but you get my point though. He is telling a bit of a lie. From what i see it was the STG that brought it all into one package and it should get the credit.

  • @a2redneck There's alot of Garand in the AK.

  • @huguenot67 go on.......

  • @a2redneck I was as shocked as you are.;-)

  • @huguenot67 please explain.

  • @a2redneck The trigger group is so similar as to almost certainly have been copied from the Garand. Mike K. knew good design when he saw it.

  • @a2redneck The design submitted my MK in the1945 competition that lost out to the SKS was also heavily influenced by the Garand.

  • @a2redneck Oh, and the AK gas system is kind of a simplified, improved Garand design that been turned upside down.

  • @huguenot67 cool, thanks for the info.

  • @a2redneck Hes Russian, meaning his sense of pride outweighs reality, and if I designed the great weapon in existence that sense would exist in me as well. Give the guy a break, they are similar, EVERY assault rifle comes from the Stg44. But its an excellent weapon fear and admired the world over, so would you mind cutting a prideful geezer a little slack?

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 I do give him some slack. I did say: "no disrepect". He did design a simple, yet effective rifle, but to say it had nothing to do with the STG44 is just asinine. World War II, as General Designer of small arms for the Soviet Army, Kalashnikov's design subordinates included the Germans Hugo Schmeisser, designer of the StG-44, and Werner Grüner. Im throwing that fact out there again. I do thank mr.Kalashnikov for putting this rifle together, ill give credit where credit is due

  • @a2redneck The original designer (the kraut) is long since passed on, and though I do accept that his weapon was the basis for ALL assault rifles I still like the kalashnikov variant more. It is an outstanding weapon, and yes, he did take credit, but can you blame an old revolutionary?

  • @a2redneck and if you look closely the same iron sights

  • Diffrence:the russians used the captured Stg´s for the design

conclusion:the ak is a better version of the Stg

  • It's based off of STG44.........

  • that old bean is stll alive?

  • the stg 44 did take meticulous work compared to the ak's stamp metal structure

  • yes its from tales of the gun history channel couldn't write that in cuz the title was 2 long and it wouldnt upload. so i wrote this title 4 the vid.

  • Even tho you stole this clip from another video...AK's rule!
