I know u usually pay for the Green Car before hand, so when I saw this added step for the Suica cards, i got confused... cause its like... pay again????????? so it just makes the seat light green??

Before you use a green car seat, you have to insert your suica or pasmo to a ticket vending machine, and select your destination. The machine records your additional payment for a green car seat to your suica. When you take a seat, touch a panel with your suica. The panel shows green sign. It means that you paid. If you want to change a seat, just touch again. The payment record moves to your suica again.
