The remastered stuff sounds so wrong. Whoever did it not only had no understanding of Stone Roses but of music in general. It's one sonic swhoosh where no one stands out.
Maybe the reason for the reunion, get a bit of money together to do it themselves.
To think of the prices being charged for this and the hype and then it sounds like a beard has come in and 'corrected' everything is beyond sad.
I'd listen to my vinyl copy to erase the horror if it wasn't warped. And my turntable wasn't broken.
brilliant version much better than the 7" single, the drum solo at the start is amazing and when it all kicks in with browns vocals it make you belt it out!
Who remastered and produced this cut? This is an example of how the SR should have been produced. Don't understand why the album didn't sound more like this!
@TheMchaggis That's not a fact, it's just your opinion! Which also happens to be my opinion too... which means that it's actually a fact come to think of it.

Why Remaster it when it was already mastered?
issy7862008 4 months ago
@issy7862008 To make the tracks sound clearer and more dynamic. Audio processing technology has come on a long way since 1989.

Hopefully the Roses will get back together and do a few more albums.
No reason why not, and they still have all the talent in the world.
Led Zeppelin were together from 68 to 80, Roses from 83 to 95.
Zeppelin only ended with death of Bonham.
No excuse for Roses, as Reni never died, he just walked away.
