You have the ryhthm all wrong on this. The song has a thick swing which makes the solo work. It's like you've taken all that out of it and you're just nailing the notes to 16th note spots.

@RealRapMusic187 Erm... Yup, that would be about the size of it m8. In my experience the only time a Rap artist gets even close 2 being funky is when they are stealing and sampling from other artist. Rap is an acronym, it stands 4 "Rhythm Acompanied Poetry" these guys are poets not musicians. They don't know the first thing about funky. If U want real funk the U need real musicians playing real instruments. Cuz rap might move Ur feet but real music can move Ur soul. :)

@RealRapMusic187 Honestly bro, if U can't hear funk in a Prince lick then I'm not the only ignorant person in this conversation. Prince is up there with all the true funk legends like James Brown, Sly Stone and George Clinton. He is cut of the same cloth. I will however concede that "Let's Go Crazy" is not a funk song per se it's more rock but that guitar solo is still funky as hell. Anyway we agree 2 differ. Peace 2 U bro. :)
