lol i love this maneuver, your basic 15 tons of jet levitation trick hahaha the section high alpha is a gorgeous maneuver with the 2 solos fly as slow as physically possible without dropping out of the sky. igniting afterburners number 6 climbs 50 degrees nose up while number 5 rockets forward both show off the F/A-18's solid balance of finesse and muscle

Can you tell me which manuever it is? I thought they announced it as the Cobra...

This manuever is called the Section High Alpha Pass, where the jets slow to 120 knots, and pull back on the stick staying level. (A Cobra is pulling 90 degrees all the way back, as these are at about 25 at angle) Afterward, the lead solo, Lcdr. John Allison will call for burners, and 5 will go level, as #6 performs a max performance climb called the muscle climb.
