Once again Joeseh, although a sidebar issue, I am not sure what purpose it serves to filter comments beforehand. I understand that people can be lewd, or whatever, and that after the fact, if this is the case, then one might wish to mop the floor of them. However, I have offered many comments that are very legitimate and that you seem to avoid. I don't understand that behaviour.
@TheSkepticUn I'm not sure. There are some of your comments being flagged as spam and not showing for whatever reasons. I do filter comments for the very reasons you stated.
If you were also interested in finding the truth, why wouldn't you be as critical as any scientist would be, when confronted with Pye's dubious claims? What happened to "Dr. Ted Robinson" that seems to have vanished, but has been repeatedly referred to by Pye as an expert?
@TheSkepticUn Fair question and interesting insinuation. In the beginning I was VERY skeptical. I've been watching and awaiting the results of the scientific testing that Lloyd has been working towards. I've held the original anomalous skull. I know the differences between this skull and a normal human skull. I'm completely independent as a reporter so I don't have a bank roll behind me to do anymore than what I have.
@josephpalermo With respect, in science, the claims are not made before the evidence supports them. When someone is selling books based on the claims, then it is only right to wait for the science to prove this. No one is claiming that this skull is "normal", however, evidence must demonstrate that it is something other than human. Pye claims that it is of alien origin. The evidence simply does not support this.
@josephpalermo That is not the claim however. If Pye has used the term "highly unusual", then this would not be an issue, but to over extend the conclusion by stating that this skull is "not human", but of "alien origin", is totally unsubstantiated. Add on top of that his claim of "Dr. Ted Robinson", and I have to ask that if you are a "reporter" as you claim, why aren't you reporting on this and being much more critical of the evidence?
@TheSkepticUn I am more of what's known as a video journalist, and not paid by anyone for doing it. The reason I've reported on this as I have and put the short clip online as I have is to encourage those with the testing capacity to join in the investigation. If the end result shows the skull to be completely human, we can all move on to something else. If not, then there are more questions.
@josephpalermo I have also asked you repeatedly about "Dr. Ted Robinson". I have read exceprts from Pye's book and he has made the claim on your channel, that this "Dr." is listed as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada). This is a searchable public website and it does not show that this person exists as such. Does this not make you question Pye? A very dubious claim that remains only that, unsubstantiated by science.
@josephpalermo The website that Pye refers to, of course! And if you look at your own channel, Pye has made a comment regarding "Dr. Ted Robinson", as I have said many time to you.
@josephpalermo You say, "I've been watching and awaiting the results of the scientific testing that Lloyd has been working towards". But what was wrong with the previous results that concluded that there was no indication that the skull was not human?
Too funny, Lloyd Pye blocked me from engaging in this nonsensical assertion of his. I am sorry, but for those who believe his drivel, I feel sorry for you. He preys upon suckers and refuses to engage in mature scientific debate. He is deluded and/or dishonest.
@TheSkepticUn I work to keep any communications I make clean and to the subject at hand. You do not unless called on the carpet about it. You're not sorry, otherwise you would not have written what you have. Lloyd is not "preying" on anyone that I know of. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. With everything that's been uncovered about the anomalous skull, his assertions are more than reasonable. If you think it's all nonsense, why bother with it?
@josephpalermo Of course Pye is preying on people--anyone who has not the education to ask the questions that he is refusing to answer. Some of us actually have educations in science and we have expertise in scientific research. Pye is simply making a mockery of critical inquiry with thse claims. Here is the challenge--what is the evidence to support his claim that this skull is not human?
@TheSkepticUn When you've had to answer the SAME question over and over and over again because people wont read what's been written and answered, it gets tiring. Much of your dialog today has merely been character assassination of which
@TheSkepticUn In this particular case, I've known Lloyd Pye since 1999. He's had chances along the way to fund the needed research but rejected them because of potential strings attached. He has been unwavering in his dedication to get to the truth about the anomalous skull. His opinion (as he IS an expert one bones) is that the anomalous skull cannot be entirely human. EVERYTHING about its structure is wrong. As I understand it, he's
@josephpalermo I suggest that what Pye is "unwavering" about has less to do with truth, and more to do with evidence that does not support his assertion. As far as I am concerned, he is an unscrupulous con-man with no integrity whatsoever.
@josephpalermo Where is the evidence to support the assertion that this skull is anything but human? When you make claims and sell books based on these claims, but do not demonstrate evidence for such claims, is usually referred to as FRAUD.
@josephpalermo Yes I have been on Lyoyd website, and it is there that I find his use of "Dr.Ted Robinson", who Pye claims is a "craniofacial surgeon". Pye uses this man's name numerous times in his book and made the same reference on your YouTube channel. Pye claims to you, "Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada). This can be checked at the College of Surgeons in Ottawa". Where is Dr. Ted Robinson? You are a reporter.
@josephpalermo If his character is being critically examined, it is due to his own behviours in trying to make a profit on this idea, making unsubstantiated claims while trying to flog his book. He has only himself to blame, not those asking him to provide the evidence to support his conclusions. Science expects evidence BEFORE the claims, not vice versa.
@TheSkepticUn Au contraire. You know the easiest way to get rid of something? Pay it no mind. At this point, I know you can dialog civilly when you choose to but for some reason you prefer to attack. Not good.
@TheSkepticUn I understand what you're saying. Do you realize there are still people who believe the earth is flat? Without an assertion, how do you move forward with exploration?
@josephpalermo Lloyd Pye is NOT an expert in anatomy of old bones. He has not education in science and has no background in any research whatsoever. He has never published a dot of credible research. He is a seller of stories and he tries to convince the gullible that he is an expert. He refused crtical analysis of his claims. That in and of itself disqualifies him from being taken seriously, except that he should be jailed for fraud.
@josephpalermo Experts are considered experts by their peers. Together they form a scholarly community that is based on peer-review and their work is open to criticism. Invariably, experts in a field derive their foundational knowledge base in a university where they obtain a PhD and subsequently conduct research that is published in credible journals. They often also holdfaculty postions in universities where they teach. Pye does not possess any of this.
@TheSkepticUn I do understand what you're saying. See, THIS is good dialog. When it comes to anything paranormal, Lloyd and I have the same hurdle with minds like yours. I get science, have always liked it however until something is testable to scientific standard, it gets attacked. I've had many experiences with the paranormal, some with eyewitnesses but because I don't have anything to put under scientific scrutiny, I can't prove anything to anyone else.
@josephpalermo Wrong. Until something can be demonstrated, it cannot be claimed. For Pye to make the claim that he had DNA analysis carried out, and is awaiting other results, implies that he is using science. Fine. However, if he is going to use science, he cannot have it both ways. He cannot make the claim first and then await evidence to fit the conclusion. That is not science, but pseudo-science. He has no foundation to stand on because he has sold it.
@TheSkepticUn Just because science wont acknowledge somethings reality doesn't negate the reality of the things existence. It merely means that science demands everything meets it's criteria. And, again, Lloyd is open to science proving whatever the reality is, not just what HE thinks it is. He's maintained that posture since I've met him.
@josephpalermo But you asked why I consider Pye NOT to be an expert in old bones and you are not addressing this, but something else entirely. Stick to one issue then move to the next. Pye is no expert in old bones, nor is he an expert in science. He is a writer of stories, and that is all. He has a story that he is trying desperately to sell, but his claim does not stand the rigors of scientific scrutiny. His claim that this skull is of alien origin is simply invalid.
@josephpalermo There is no rudeness intended. I was trying to point out that the normal skull is of no particular interest, and therefore, it was not what anyone would be referring to if there was question.
@josephpalermo Why would someone question the authenticity of a normal shaped skull? And I didn't catch the part where you provided an indication of your expertise in human anatomy.
@josephpalermo When you are making a claim and basing this claim on an expertise, then it is incimbatn upon you to support this claim with evidence. When asked, the person making this claim should not be responding to the question of what their expertise is, with, "You tell me yours, all tell you mine". It is not a game of hide and seek.
@TheSkepticUn I'm not Lloyd Pye. I'm not making any claims, just reporting. Besides, you put the challenge out there. So I take it you don't have an expertise in this matter? I don't either, but I know what a normal skull is supposed to look like. You really need to go to Lloyd's website for current info.
@josephpalermo I have an expertise in science and anatomy. I see no indication of expertise in the research attempts at objectively examining this. I do not say this in any disrespect, although, I am not terribly impressed by Pye's use of profanities launched at me in my queries to him
@TheSkepticUn Thank you for your response. I personally know of at least one nurse who examined the skull who could testify to it being actual bone (not a conglomeration). I would like to see Lloyd's responses to you. Please e-mail them to me at jlp@its-dms.com .
@josephpalermo Lloyd Pie has blocked me, but here is what he said, "Reply to your comment on: Starchild Skull Eyes Discussed @TheSkepticUn : The fact that you're still ranting about the Dr. Sweet result shows me what an ignoranus (ignorant AND an asshole) you are. Geeze, man, that test was 11 years ago! We've had two more since then. So please stop cluttering these venues with your drivel until you have even a shred of an idea of what you're talking about."
@josephpalermo I suggest that if Pye was truly interested in an open debate, he would not block anyone, nor use profanities in his dialogue. It seems obvious that in blocking people who are crtically appraising his allegations, he is simply protecting himself from scrutiny.
@josephpalermo One nurse???? I am talking about having the skull examined by independent labs who will stand behind the results of DNA analysis and that these analyses and results, whatever they may be, is an agreed upon prerequisite by Pye.
@TheSkepticUn Now, I didn't say one nurse verified the skull was part alien, did I? To my knowledge, Lloyd has spent considerable time working to do exactly what you're describing. Not an easy task. Not all reputable labs are interested in discovering something so incredible for fear of established clients reaction. I've experienced this problem myself.
@josephpalermo There are many labs who would do the work PRO BONO, and never ask for a penny. Given that Pye has no educational crednetially in science, nor research expertise, how else can he expect to have credible DNA analyses carried out but by contacting university labs that would jump at the chance to do this science??
part one of project Blue Beam anybody? Recent news claims thats its only half human. The DNA of other half is unknown....hmmmmm.... i smell another mass public lie coming
Fourth possibility: the skull is the compilation of multiple human skulls, masterfully pieced together in an elaborate and convincing hoax. Not saying it is, but why did he omit the possibility?
Because it is not made of human bone. How do you splice together different pieces of human bone (which wouldn't fit together anyway) and come up with a completely different chemical make-up?The chemical analysis of the bone is completely different from human bone.Where do you find a human skull w/two sets of adult teeth?Shallow eye sockets?
@MainTightSqueeze dont be a dumbass... thats not a possibility that the skull is the compilation of multiple human skulls...wannabe smartass or a freakin skeptic... its way too ignorant & selfish to think , that we are alone in this universe
He was on Fox news telling every one watching that the Anunnaki cae and made humans .. No secrete for us that see beyond the evil lies of modern sciense and the deception of the Evolution of Man ... :D
For some reason my comments don't seem to be showing up after posting. But in the interest of curiosity I will ask again. DNA, Have tests been done yet? what are the results?
Apparently they have found out the hard matter of the bone is made of hydroxylapatite (normal mineral bone structure) and they found human mythocondrial DNA...
So I mean... there's evidence it's human.
There's no evidence it's alien.
They couldn't extract nuclear DNA though, but I'm not surprised.. it's such an old skull.
What is funny is that the caretaker jumps from "we couldn't find any nuclear DNA" to "so it must be an alien hybrid". I'd say he's a con artist.
I hate to tell you this, but if your talking about Lloyd Pye, he is no con artist, everything he speaks and writes about can be proven in a scientific manner. You should do more research on someone before you start making accusations about him. He has a lot of video's of documentaries explaining his point of view. Which in my opinion is the right point of view that will be proved correct in coming years.
This skull has been around for some tome on the net and my only question ....DNA....has it been tested? If so, then where are the results. If not then why not?
That skull reminds me of that youtube video about a perhaps russian baby with human body, bulging eyes, some type of cord coming out of what his supposed to be a mouth (like an aardvark) a very short neck. Basicly it looks like a monkey head, but the body has no movement (probably was born without a cerebelum or stem that goes down the skull into the spine.
Well, this skull's configuration is unlike anything we see in birth defects cases. If the maxilla was still intact, it could have been useful for determining further if the biological differences were considerable enough to associate the skull with another specie. I would be surprised if this is a human skull.
I am from that area of mexico on that is not new at all we all on that area have the same type process that is why most of us are over 6' tall and other difference not as remark as the one that was not release you got to go to the town to see by your self and maybe get some real answer not just speculative, is just a small town on the same latitude and degree as other special towns on this planet
this is fake... probably some form of false prophet spoken of in The Holy Bible... which has all the real answers... there is no such thing as a "starchild"... it speaks about all these kinds of things in The Bible!
So why didn't she dig up and keep the rest of this skeleton. It would have been undisputable if she would have the rest to prove it wasn't human.Don't get me wrong, I do believe their here, but why leave the whole answer buried.
The entire story is not in this video. According to the death bed confession of the woman who had the skulls, when she discovered them as a child, there were full skeletons. She placed the bones in a basket and hid it at the edge of the property because she didn't want to have to explain where she got them because she had been told to NOT to go there. Overnight there was a terrible storm and in the morning all she could find was the two skulls.
@josephpalermo yeah agree with knock answer... what the women said after she didnt found the rest of the skeletons ? she said they had simply disapear? that's making this story a huge probability to be a fake in my humble point of view.
4-5 people telling things without enough facts isnt enough to give the conviction of truness
Ive been following the starchildproject for a couple of years now, i wonder when theyre going to make progress in the analyzation of the skull. I havent heard squat in a long time, and the site hasnt been updated in ages.
Lloyd and I keep in touch on a semi-regular basis and I've not heard anything new about the analysis. I'm sure there's an e-mail address at the website. Contact him and ask.
@Clyps2 in my opinion ... they just wont release more info about it.. because it people realize the truth, it will reshape religion, earlier human believes and subjects of history, biology, and genetics.. + the panic and mass suicides .. lol maybe suicides is thought a bit too far out :D
had this child lived to be human it would have a brain capacity of 1800cc. thats 400cc above todays adult human. a brain increase of more than 200cc warrants a new species of human. which makes this starchild 2 species above humans of today had it lived to be an adult
everyone is forgetting that for this skull to be at least "partially alien", an "Alien" and a human had to fornicate...so what are the chances of ET having the right parts to do that with a human and reproduce AND (if it actually worked) have a "hybrid child" that wasn't stillborn? This is just a genetic fuck up...
Why don't they do a physical reconstruction of what this child/human looked like? They do it all the time with ancient skulls - I saw them do it with the skull of a 6000 yr old body they found in a glacier. They were even able to not only show what he looked like, but show how he died: shot by a flint arrow.
Why the so called aliens didn't recovered the bodies in order to avoid such debate many years later? I'm sure that those aliens had a very advanced technology (if they managed to play like that with Genetics) Are there any childern of the stars left alive? hmmm.... strange.
Dr. Patricia Hummel, a specialist on infant head shapes and Dr. Jeffrey A. Fearon from The Craniofacial Center state that "Starchild suffered from a congenital defect, specifically Brachycephaly and exorbitism. The evidence supports the fact that the Starchild was not an alien, as it suffered from various human congenital defects that are known and well documented." the guy who owns the skull keeps asking for money for DNA tests although many labs have offered to this cheap procedure for free
If you go to wikipedia and search "starchild skull"..then scroll to bottom to References, the two most recent findings can be clicked and state the nuclear DNA is STILL inconlusive. The maternity DNA has been proven human but not the fathers.
The only places in nature where there is a lack of order are places touched by Man's hand. This could be seen a proof of a Designer. A magnificent, all-knowing mind and an all-powerful pair of hands. Also, what's everyone's take on the notion that these "aliens" are from within this solar system, or even living in hidden colonies on Earth?
Ok, let's start with the most obvious and first utter lie; no teenage girl is going to stumble across human remains, and then notice something even stranger, and simply dig them up. She would have run screaming. This is a crock.
You are assuming you know the actual personality of the teenage girl. If she were like Bones on the Fox TV series of the same name, she may very well have acted as described.
If she were like a fictional character?? I am not buying it. I have known a lot of teenagers, and no teenage girl I know, of any personality type, would be digging instead of running for help. It just doesn't ring true.
Carl Sagan, a real scientist, said that there is more likelihood of a human and a petunia having offspring than there is of a human and an alien because at least they're both from the same planet. I hope this puts into perspective the absurdity of what these people are suggesting.
I just saw "Is it real?" on TV, and they did a DNA test on this skull, and it's human... It's nothing but a deformed skull. You're bordering the realm of stupidity now... Move on to a new project!
we can debate on this subject forever, or, we can come to the conclusion, we did come from something, and the whole idea of life just "sprining" from nothing, is a little far-fetched, right?
something might not have been coming back to "take" the child. there is the possibility the local elders demanded it be killed because of its deformity, thus the scenario.
I was under the impression that the Nuclear DNA has not been tested, and that it was only proven that the mother of the 'starchild' was of human origin by the mytochondiral(spelling?) DNA.
No the mother was proven to be human but they found no nuclear dna which shows the father. This shows that the father was not human or the mother got prego by herself without a mans dna.
incredible intricacies of what? which incredible intricacies?
There are no incredible (reads unbelievable) intricacies of anything. If you find any incredible intricacies maybe you don't have enough knowledge to interpret the facts.
(sp?) does that mean you speak Spanish? Yo también hablo español y no hay palabra que explique tu error ortográfico, la palabra intrincar y
Do actually think we are the only ones out there? These books have been written over and over whats the real truth.? End of the Bible is near- then what? What do we think then? Any different from now? Wait! There here?!!!! Oh! now I beleive! - too late -were nuked..Beam me up please..I beleive..
the skull is of interest any luck on more advanced d.n.a processing for it paturnal where was the original found and has it been compramised with so much human handling
Has any one ever thought that they (the aliens) being much more advanced then us, Could abduct a human, make a copy/replica and insert it back into the human population? Myself, being abducted at a very young age, ask my self everyday if I'm truly human or some Alien made "replica".

Why no "scientific peer review"? Check this: watch?v=ePUy4npHOmQ
Simply said, due to current dogmatic science policies will not touch highly extraordinary (or "controversial") subjects.

TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn I don't make this situation my life's work. Which website are you referring to regarding Robinson?
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo The website that Pye refers to, of course! And if you look at your own channel, Pye has made a comment regarding "Dr. Ted Robinson", as I have said many time to you.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Not on my channel he hasn't. I've only got one video up and that was from 1999 and that was well before most of the testing was begun.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo You say, "I've been watching and awaiting the results of the scientific testing that Lloyd has been working towards". But what was wrong with the previous results that concluded that there was no indication that the skull was not human?
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Which results were those?
josephpalermo 1 year ago
Too funny, Lloyd Pye blocked me from engaging in this nonsensical assertion of his. I am sorry, but for those who believe his drivel, I feel sorry for you. He preys upon suckers and refuses to engage in mature scientific debate. He is deluded and/or dishonest.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn I work to keep any communications I make clean and to the subject at hand. You do not unless called on the carpet about it. You're not sorry, otherwise you would not have written what you have. Lloyd is not "preying" on anyone that I know of. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. With everything that's been uncovered about the anomalous skull, his assertions are more than reasonable. If you think it's all nonsense, why bother with it?
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Of course Pye is preying on people--anyone who has not the education to ask the questions that he is refusing to answer. Some of us actually have educations in science and we have expertise in scientific research. Pye is simply making a mockery of critical inquiry with thse claims. Here is the challenge--what is the evidence to support his claim that this skull is not human?
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn When you've had to answer the SAME question over and over and over again because people wont read what's been written and answered, it gets tiring. Much of your dialog today has merely been character assassination of which
i'm getting tired of.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
Until and unless evidence is presented that demonstrates this skull is not human, then anything else is really fantasy talk to sell books.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn In this particular case, I've known Lloyd Pye since 1999. He's had chances along the way to fund the needed research but rejected them because of potential strings attached. He has been unwavering in his dedication to get to the truth about the anomalous skull. His opinion (as he IS an expert one bones) is that the anomalous skull cannot be entirely human. EVERYTHING about its structure is wrong. As I understand it, he's
'in the hole" with this.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo I suggest that what Pye is "unwavering" about has less to do with truth, and more to do with evidence that does not support his assertion. As far as I am concerned, he is an unscrupulous con-man with no integrity whatsoever.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Again, mere character assassination.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Where is the evidence to support the assertion that this skull is anything but human? When you make claims and sell books based on these claims, but do not demonstrate evidence for such claims, is usually referred to as FRAUD.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Have you been to Lloyd's website? I think the results of all the testing thus far are there.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Until the evidence supports the assertion that the skull is not human, how can Pye claim that it is of alien origin?
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Yes I have been on Lyoyd website, and it is there that I find his use of "Dr.Ted Robinson", who Pye claims is a "craniofacial surgeon". Pye uses this man's name numerous times in his book and made the same reference on your YouTube channel. Pye claims to you, "Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada). This can be checked at the College of Surgeons in Ottawa". Where is Dr. Ted Robinson? You are a reporter.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@josephpalermo If his character is being critically examined, it is due to his own behviours in trying to make a profit on this idea, making unsubstantiated claims while trying to flog his book. He has only himself to blame, not those asking him to provide the evidence to support his conclusions. Science expects evidence BEFORE the claims, not vice versa.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Au contraire. You know the easiest way to get rid of something? Pay it no mind. At this point, I know you can dialog civilly when you choose to but for some reason you prefer to attack. Not good.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo I would simply like to understand how Pye can make claims before evidence demonstrates the validty of the claims.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn I understand what you're saying. Do you realize there are still people who believe the earth is flat? Without an assertion, how do you move forward with exploration?
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Lloyd Pye is NOT an expert in anatomy of old bones. He has not education in science and has no background in any research whatsoever. He has never published a dot of credible research. He is a seller of stories and he tries to convince the gullible that he is an expert. He refused crtical analysis of his claims. That in and of itself disqualifies him from being taken seriously, except that he should be jailed for fraud.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn How do you know he's not an expert in old bones.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Experts are considered experts by their peers. Together they form a scholarly community that is based on peer-review and their work is open to criticism. Invariably, experts in a field derive their foundational knowledge base in a university where they obtain a PhD and subsequently conduct research that is published in credible journals. They often also holdfaculty postions in universities where they teach. Pye does not possess any of this.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn I do understand what you're saying. See, THIS is good dialog. When it comes to anything paranormal, Lloyd and I have the same hurdle with minds like yours. I get science, have always liked it however until something is testable to scientific standard, it gets attacked. I've had many experiences with the paranormal, some with eyewitnesses but because I don't have anything to put under scientific scrutiny, I can't prove anything to anyone else.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Wrong. Until something can be demonstrated, it cannot be claimed. For Pye to make the claim that he had DNA analysis carried out, and is awaiting other results, implies that he is using science. Fine. However, if he is going to use science, he cannot have it both ways. He cannot make the claim first and then await evidence to fit the conclusion. That is not science, but pseudo-science. He has no foundation to stand on because he has sold it.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Just because science wont acknowledge somethings reality doesn't negate the reality of the things existence. It merely means that science demands everything meets it's criteria. And, again, Lloyd is open to science proving whatever the reality is, not just what HE thinks it is. He's maintained that posture since I've met him.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo So why does Pye make the claim that the skull is alien BEFORE the research demonstrates the evidence to support this?
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@josephpalermo But you asked why I consider Pye NOT to be an expert in old bones and you are not addressing this, but something else entirely. Stick to one issue then move to the next. Pye is no expert in old bones, nor is he an expert in science. He is a writer of stories, and that is all. He has a story that he is trying desperately to sell, but his claim does not stand the rigors of scientific scrutiny. His claim that this skull is of alien origin is simply invalid.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Oh no, no, no. You're the one who brought up his expertise, or lack there of. I agree, stay on one topic at a time.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
It is a human skull, period!
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn One skull is definitely human. It's the odd skull that's in question
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo That is what I am referring to!! D'uh...
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn You weren't complete in your comment. Your rudeness is not appreciated.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo There is no rudeness intended. I was trying to point out that the normal skull is of no particular interest, and therefore, it was not what anyone would be referring to if there was question.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Thank you. I appreciate the clarification.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Why would someone question the authenticity of a normal shaped skull? And I didn't catch the part where you provided an indication of your expertise in human anatomy.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn You tell me yours, I'll tell you mine.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo When you are making a claim and basing this claim on an expertise, then it is incimbatn upon you to support this claim with evidence. When asked, the person making this claim should not be responding to the question of what their expertise is, with, "You tell me yours, all tell you mine". It is not a game of hide and seek.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn I'm not Lloyd Pye. I'm not making any claims, just reporting. Besides, you put the challenge out there. So I take it you don't have an expertise in this matter? I don't either, but I know what a normal skull is supposed to look like. You really need to go to Lloyd's website for current info.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo I have an expertise in science and anatomy. I see no indication of expertise in the research attempts at objectively examining this. I do not say this in any disrespect, although, I am not terribly impressed by Pye's use of profanities launched at me in my queries to him
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Thank you for your response. I personally know of at least one nurse who examined the skull who could testify to it being actual bone (not a conglomeration). I would like to see Lloyd's responses to you. Please e-mail them to me at jlp@its-dms.com .
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo Lloyd Pie has blocked me, but here is what he said, "Reply to your comment on: Starchild Skull Eyes Discussed @TheSkepticUn : The fact that you're still ranting about the Dr. Sweet result shows me what an ignoranus (ignorant AND an asshole) you are. Geeze, man, that test was 11 years ago! We've had two more since then. So please stop cluttering these venues with your drivel until you have even a shred of an idea of what you're talking about."
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn And your problem with his response is ...?
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo I suggest that if Pye was truly interested in an open debate, he would not block anyone, nor use profanities in his dialogue. It seems obvious that in blocking people who are crtically appraising his allegations, he is simply protecting himself from scrutiny.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@josephpalermo I have a problem with profanities used in place of evidence.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@josephpalermo One nurse???? I am talking about having the skull examined by independent labs who will stand behind the results of DNA analysis and that these analyses and results, whatever they may be, is an agreed upon prerequisite by Pye.
TheSkepticUn 1 year ago
@TheSkepticUn Now, I didn't say one nurse verified the skull was part alien, did I? To my knowledge, Lloyd has spent considerable time working to do exactly what you're describing. Not an easy task. Not all reputable labs are interested in discovering something so incredible for fear of established clients reaction. I've experienced this problem myself.
josephpalermo 1 year ago
@josephpalermo There are many labs who would do the work PRO BONO, and never ask for a penny. Given that Pye has no educational crednetially in science, nor research expertise, how else can he expect to have credible DNA analyses carried out but by contacting university labs that would jump at the chance to do this science??

Fourth possibility: the skull is the compilation of multiple human skulls, masterfully pieced together in an elaborate and convincing hoax. Not saying it is, but why did he omit the possibility?
MainTightSqueeze 2 years ago
Because it is not made of human bone. How do you splice together different pieces of human bone (which wouldn't fit together anyway) and come up with a completely different chemical make-up?The chemical analysis of the bone is completely different from human bone.Where do you find a human skull w/two sets of adult teeth?Shallow eye sockets?

Because, as I said, I've personally examined the skull, as did a nurse I know. It's simply not a possibility.

For some reason my comments don't seem to be showing up after posting. But in the interest of curiosity I will ask again. DNA, Have tests been done yet? what are the results?
jedibill111 2 years ago 3
Apparently they have found out the hard matter of the bone is made of hydroxylapatite (normal mineral bone structure) and they found human mythocondrial DNA...
So I mean... there's evidence it's human.
There's no evidence it's alien.
They couldn't extract nuclear DNA though, but I'm not surprised.. it's such an old skull.
What is funny is that the caretaker jumps from "we couldn't find any nuclear DNA" to "so it must be an alien hybrid". I'd say he's a con artist.
breeknow 2 years ago
I hate to tell you this, but if your talking about Lloyd Pye, he is no con artist, everything he speaks and writes about can be proven in a scientific manner. You should do more research on someone before you start making accusations about him. He has a lot of video's of documentaries explaining his point of view. Which in my opinion is the right point of view that will be proved correct in coming years.
Aidenkai1976 1 year ago
This skull has been around for some tome on the net and my only question ....DNA....has it been tested? If so, then where are the results. If not then why not?
jedibill111 2 years ago
That skull reminds me of that youtube video about a perhaps russian baby with human body, bulging eyes, some type of cord coming out of what his supposed to be a mouth (like an aardvark) a very short neck. Basicly it looks like a monkey head, but the body has no movement (probably was born without a cerebelum or stem that goes down the skull into the spine.

Well, this skull's configuration is unlike anything we see in birth defects cases. So why didn't she dig up and keep the rest of this skeleton. It would have been undisputable if she would have the rest to prove it wasn't human.Don't get me wrong, I do believe their here, but why leave the whole answer buried.
scubadude72060 3 years ago
The entire story is not in this video. According to the death bed confession of the woman who had the skulls, when she discovered them as a child, there were full skeletons. She placed the bones in a basket and hid it at the edge of the property because she didn't want to have to explain where she got them because she had been told to NOT to go there. Overnight there was a terrible storm and in the morning all she could find was the two skulls.
josephpalermo 3 years ago
So you are saying that the rest of the bones anonymously disappeared.
Knockturnall1 3 years ago
@josephpalermo yeah agree with knock answer... what the women said after she didnt found the rest of the skeletons ? she said they had simply disapear? that's making this story a huge probability to be a fake in my humble point of view.
