  • i have a m3 e92 and the m badge is absolutely respect. the price difference is based on the difference between the technology in each car

  • Comment removed

  • get some bridgestone f1 tires

  • Also about your statement saying the 335i is not for racing. What are you smoking? If BMW didn't want it to be a car for racing then they wouldn't have dropped a TT for the engine. It would probably be just more power than the 328i/more luxury, if it was not for racing.

  • "inurik" The BMW TT going on a limb was old news. That was years ago, and BMW claimed they fixed the problem. Now the BMW 335i has no turbo lag also.

  • No matter what you do to 335i, it'll never be as good as M3. Of course, for daily driving that TT engine with low end torque is excellent but I've heard stories about how the twin turbo is going to limp mode just after a couple of hot laps around the track. 335i is just not built for racing. M3 on the other hand, is just pure driving sex. Sure, chipped 335i might beat M3 on a drag strip but there is more to life than a straight line speed.

  • All the M3's i looked at were 68k after the right options, 335 was 48k. Used 335's are now in the 30's a simple $1500software tune is great to keep up with an m3. I like this comparison. There is a big debate if the M3 is worth the money, or just tune a 335.

  • yeah, you can easily get a 335 to its straight line speed, however in terms of driving, the M3 runs rings around it

  • well said

  • Put it this way, which car would get your more ass lol...///M Power

  • Well it depends on what kind of ass you talking about are you talking about female ass or wiping ass LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lada?

  • The 335 and the M3 are both bad ass cars, I think the 335 is terribly expensive for a 3-series though. If I was going to spend $50k I would rather have a used Z06 or 911 over a 3.

  • those cars arent for everyday use fag

  • Excuse me? You must live in a poor area or something. There are tons of people that drive 911's and Z06s on a daily basis. Hell you can get a couple year old 911 in the 40k range and a Z06 for even less. I was just saying I would rather buy a couple year old porsche or z06 than pay $50k plus for a 3 series dickwad. I mean shit its not a Lambo or a Ferrari.

  • fuck u bitch..u pathetic nigga writin paragraphs to explain me some bullshit opinion of urs..get a life fag

  • I didn't write "paragraphs," maybe those few sentences are considered 1 paragraph. If you weren't such an ignorant fuck I wouldn't have to write as much to correct your stupid comments. There are thousands of 911s and z06s that are daily driven all over the world.

  • ure at it again cocksuckka..stop replying..im right, youre wrong bitch! a 335 is waaay more practical than a 911..and u bringin z06 in the mix? that gives u 12 mpg..definately practical.

    ps..u a fag no matter what u say :)

  • I wasn't talking about what was more practical dickwad! I said at the price of the 335 you might as well buy a used z06 or 911. You said Z06s and 911s are not everyday cars, maybe to you they arent but plenty of people out there drive them every day you fucking moron. And people that can afford those cars arent worried about gas dumbass. People drive even more exotic shit than that every day you broke ass motherfucker.

PS stop talking about sucking cock and fags you homo

  • haha u did it again..i love it how lowlives like u start figtin on the net like theres no tomoro..ur a looser get a life and dont talk to me abt cars...

    homo, cocksucker,faggot,dickhead <3

  • Dude your an idiot. Vettes get 26+ mpg. Look it up.

  • 3 series bmw is a amazing car, ya the 911 turbo is a amazing car but a used one gives u a problem then ur fucked. but the 3 series bmw has been winning in its class for the past 15 years. even my boss has a lamborghini lp640 and loves my car.

  • ye i agree, just buy the bloody m3. Its like my 911, all the scooby boys saying if i have 1000bhp i will beat your porsche. all these vids should be standard v standard.

  • yahh but then gas, insurance etc

  • It's unfair. 335 has less power than M3.

  • afford the m3. anyone that could afford either obviously knows what there gonna get. even if u tune the 335i to go faster. thats cool and great but it still will never be an M3. the M badge = RESPECT. and the people that can afford the m3 know what im saying. great video

  • @ 1986michaelmcgill

    AGREE!

  • we're talking $250 a month difference here. If you can't afford a new M3 then you can't afford to modify a 335i either.

  • @1986michaelmcgill You got that spot on.

  • i hate people saying if u did this or that to the car. at the end of the day no matter what u do the 335i it will always only be a 335i. and u dont only buy an m3 for the power and performance. u also buy it for the respect and admiration that comes with the M badge. i bought my girlfriend the m3 cause it was the better car. yeah the 335i is cheaper but i tested both and had her drive and test both and the m3 was the clear winner. the only reason someone buys a 335i is cause they cant

  • If you buy a car to get respect and admiration, you might need to see a psychologist.

  • esta muy bueno son unos vagos que no le tienen miedo a nada

  • M3 is BOSS!

  • LET ME TELL YOU SOME THING THE V6 TWIN TURBO WITH TUNING WILL LIVE HALF A LIFE THAN THE V8 STOCK OF M3 .TURBO KILL her v6 its faster with tuning this will short her live

  • BMW Never Made a V6 Engine. Inline SIX

  • exactly.

  • No, 335 is not using v6...

  • How cost the pack of V3 Vishnu Performance for the BMW 335i E92 ?

  • arguments about the m3 and 335 are stupid if u ask me... chip the 335.. void ur waranty and screw urself long term.. awesome... the m3 is superior and for how much more.. 10-12k... dinans lvl 3 upgrade is 9-10k... wow let me make an uglier car go as fast as the nicer looking one.. makes sense if ur a drug addict.. this isnt even the DCT... let me see how these little vishnu toys keep up with that

  • dumbass, the DCT is better than the MT on the 335i.

  • zycan im glad ur one of the mentally retarded ones... there is no DCT for the 335 ... the auto is faster but when comparing the M DCT to the conventional automatic .. no comparison... nice try zycan... i think ur the dumbass

  • OK, you are right, there is no DCT for the 335i, i meant the auto.

However, this is the V1, the V3 (or even JB3) would crush the M3 from a dig. And the JB3 is only $700. Haha.

  • an m3 over a 335i is not 10-12k lol more like 15-20k.

  • Actually, it's just $3k more for an '08 e90 M3 on a 36 mo lease vs. an '09 335i.

  • dude that's a retarded statement. a 335i with an m-sport kit, wheels, a drop, and a jb3 or v3 will be so good looking and much cheaper. we're talking maybe $5k in mods. pocket the extra 10k and you're good to go.

  • How can u drive a 335i in a sportive way on "TOYOS" ??? Smoke them and buy some real rubber.

    Get some MPS2 dude.

  • WHERE IS VISHNU V2 ? is it coming soon or not ?

  • I saw the comparison between the M3 and the new Dinan 406bhp tune up with suspension and other mods. The M3 was quicker round the track and in a 1/4 mile drag, and was nicer to live with according to the testers. to see it type "Stock BMW M3 vs Dinan 335i"

  • the new v3 version of 335 can put out over 400whp

  • and void your powertrain warranty at the same time!!it great. also if you have an automatic DO NOT run an aftermarket programmer. you will ruin you transmission and you will be paying for it on your own, labor alone is exactly 54 FRU or 6.75 hrs just for removal and install at approx. 150 per hour depending on area.

  • landyacht06 are u an audi or mercedes owner (mercedes = worst powertrain ever), there is no stock powertrain damage report on 335's with these ecu upgrade until now, and there are cars that can run a high end 11 seconds on 1/4 mile, with the void warranty ...if the ecu upgrade it's unplugged there is no clue that the car was modified in the first place and over this the owner always have to choose if the assume the risk to install the ecu upgrade

  • i am neither however i am a BMW service tech. and have personally seen several vehicles that have required automatic trans replacement payed at customers expense. their powertrain warranty has been voided. I cant recall the exact fault code but there is a certain fault code stored when the EGS is damaged due to the programmers. they say the dealership will never know but they are wrong.

  • are those auto trans been aftermarket programmed ? , on engine ecu upgrade i know for sure that they don't appear on tester if the're unplugged

  • no they are failing with a fault code that is un-erasable and occurs during trans failure. that is true they dont appear on the tester but i have seen vehicles coming in with the piggy back programmer still installed, im not retarded and we can tell if they have had or do have a programmer. also the N54 motor(335i/535i) is having turbo issues requiring replacement. if you look at the repair history on these vehicles you can look at previous work performed and see a set of tires a about 3k miles!

  • this is true with newer 335i's...BMW has gotten smart. Do what I do and get your service consultant to like you by being talkative (everyone needs a break from work) and get him New Years present or something to let him know you appreciate his service. This is from a guy who has an Audi, Subaru, and now a BMW Z4. I always get a car to drive, part discounts etc. all for buying a $20 bottle. If I had a 335i they'd warranty me, b/c deep down they're enthusiasts to. They just need to like you.

  • if you a a good customer, and continue service with the particular dealer, im sure you could work something out. Im not 100% on the transmission price but i believe it is in the range of $6k. i have yet to replace an automatic in a new new 3 series(E90/91.92/93) but have removed a manual, which was no fun. anyways i would recommend that if you purchased the vehicle to not add one of these programmers unless you have enough to replace lots of components, or plan on selling it within 2 yrs or so.

  • A V1 won't hang with the M3... a V2 could probably but deifnately not with the M5.

  • True.

  • thats really weird cuz the V1 raced the M5 and they stayed almost together then the M5 over took it while here we see the e92 overtaking the 335 V1 easily!

  • Which makes who faster ;)

  • You're not the only one who notices these BS races.. when you look at the other videos.. the m5 beats the m3 by 8+ cars and the m5 beats the 335i V1 by about 4 cars... In this video you see the M3 walking the 335i V1...

The videos don't add up... I think whoever made these BS videos could make a stock civic dust any car... o_O

  • BS? Get real; we are testing them and publish what happends. The V1 is slower than BMW M3 E92 and M5 E39 Supersprint, the last two about even.

  • what i said earlier about the M5 i thought this was the new M5 i forgot it was the e39 thats why i was astonished for a moment there

  • are you talking about the supersprint e39? or the e60??? because your logic doenst add up, these videos are very accurate, i have seen some of these races replacated lol

  • The reason the M5 beat the M3 by so much is because the M3 mis-shifted.

  • How many Hp have this 335i ???

  • BMW says the motor is rated at 300 hp and 300 lb/ft of torque, however....

dinan has pulled the motor and dyno'd it out to 332hp and 333 lb/ft of torque!

  • and hence the word, PULLED OUT THE MOTOR, and besides dinan probably upped the boost, its 300 ish at the wheels

  • Dinan did 4 tests, they tested the 335 motor stock power at the wheels, then pulled the motor, tested the crank power (which is the rating all car manufacturers give as well). They then tuned the motor, dyno'd the motor again, put it back in, and then tested rwhp for a second time.

    Stock rwhp: 296hp @ 5600rpm

    Stock Fwhp (flywheel hp) :332hp @ 5600rpm

    Dinan rwhp: 342hp @ 5700rpm

    Dinan fwhp: 384hp @ 5700rpm

  • but i miss read the question lol, this one (V1) has 381 hp and 420 lb/ft of torque. Anyone correct me if i'm wrong please lol

  • 335 i little bit slow in shifting,

but he hold M3 very nicely :)

  • The 335 did very well, not going to lie....But like vipeme1 said, this race will be better if it has the V2 tune

  • nice race, m3 walked away. I want to see it race the v2 though.

  • Have you seen the GTboard DVD2?

  • thanks gustav

the 335i will never surpass the m3, but it is a hell of a car(i drive an xi)

  • Sure, no problems.

  • I second that! the xi launches HARD from a stop

  • No matter how fast a 335 is with a chip, it will never be an M3...Heck, you can get a civic with a homegorwn turbo kit to pull on a m3..does it make it a better car?? I dont think so;)?

  • Very true!

  • no and who would turbo a fwd car?

  • apparently a lot of people... look at Audi and VW for starters. :P

  • Not to downplay the M3 as it's a great car.. but to compare the 335 to a Civic?? Come on now...

  • When I got a chance to drive an M3 at our dealer when the BMW representitive passed through, I noticed it REALLY kicks when it gets into the end of third gear. It can really pull ahead of many cars out of it's league.

  • Yes, you have to rev it. It feels faster than it is, but end of 4th gear si also impressive.

  • in some ways, i'm surprised BMW made a car that with a few thousand $, can almost keep with their M.

  • The BMW M3 is a totally different car than the 335i. So much mroe sporty and raw.

  • still, it seems like a bad marketing decision. but i shouldn't talk. my guess is BMW know better than i do. :)
