  • nice

  • Calcium carbride= secret ingridient :)

  • Its mackerel..

  • Check out the pumpkins we blew up on my channel!

  • This is so cool

  • Definately water and calcium carbide. My friend used it and got the same results. Its a lot of fun if you're a pyromaniac, so I urge you to completely ignore everything they say about safety.

  • 1:53

    HEY! I'M THE WINNER!

  • Press 7 & 8. Kaboom

  • i lol so hard every time i see those peices fly out.its like the game perfection! :D

  • Secret Ingredient I'm guessing is Zinc and HCl.

  • @turtlemanx15 Nah, hydrogen isn't that energetic. It's calcium carbide and water producing acetylene.

  • its gasoline i tested it. you just w8 for the gas to build up.

  • Looks to me like Calcium carbide and they are adding in water to make acetylene.

  • SM ? -.-

  • backing soda

  • oh well another $99 suit = poor man

  • my chemistry teacher never did this. that's why i dropped out of chemistry.

  • what are they using?

  • @WarHawk215 were's the power puff girls??!?!?!?

  • Or paint thinner onto zinc tablets. (releases hydrogen gas)

  • 1. Dump a small creeper inside the pumpkin

    2. provoke it.

  • But... isn't it already carved?

  • holy mackerel!!!! is how you spell it

  • GUY LOOKS LIKE BIDEN

  • 0:45 woa hahaha!!!

  • where do you get dry ice for last vid if you could get back to me that would be great tanks

  • soak a roll of toilet paper in kerosene. put in pumpkin and lite!

  • holy macrol! :)

  • 99 dollars for a suit?????? guess he doesn't shop at goodwill!!! :) LOL

  • The secret is TNT!"!!!!

  • CaC2 in water to create acetylene gas. Put some H2O2 in the base to release excess oxygen and allow for the explosive force. Boom.

  • put a little gasoline

  • I was thinking a good ol' frag grenade. but it may disturb the kids. heeee- hee.

  • HOLY MAKAREL! HOHOHOHOHO!!

  • Man, I was going to use some C-4. This is so much more practical!

  • just spray a whole bottle of deodorant in there, and stick the lighet in trough the back and light :D

  • What happens when you do it at home? watches video. ohh thats why. Never mind then!

  • bag of those toy bombs

  • wat if i filll a pumpkin with vodka, light it, ant throw it onto someone i hate ?

  • 'ho ho ho Holy Mackerel' lol at 00:59 Thumbs up so others can see this!

  • 'ho ho ho Holy Mackerel' lol at 00:59

Thumbs up so others can see this!

  • @greekmythgurl when she does, tell us the secret ingredient or at least on my page!!

  • alkali metals??

  • i think they used a alcohol based gel... looked like the flamming gelly nerdrage made

  • lol

  • Im gonna combine this will the dry ice

  • :o My chemistry teacher told us on the first day of school, that around Halloween, we will be exploding pumpkins. :D

  • he is so smart

  • it's gotta be calcium carbide, sulfuric acid would melt the pumpkin

  • it is hydrogen :)

  • im ao glad i clicked on this video. this is awesome!

  • its ethenal ahlcohal probibly

  • its ethenal ahlcohal

  • SM ? is this not for kids?

  • i did not like science until i seen this

  • you can just spray like hell with cheap hairspray ?

  • i did this with my cologne and the lighter and it did that to it was awesome

  • i did this with my cologne and the lighter and it did that to it was awsome

  • No comment approval on this video?

  • "Can I do this?"

"Sure, you can do whatever you want! It's your show!"

    Lmao

  • it sound like hydrogen

  • there was a big bang... just like they do the hydrogen balloon im guessing its hydrogen gas trapped in the pumpkin created by an acid with zinc and magnesium which creates the gas then he puts it to a flame i think....

  • there was a big bang... just like they do the hydrogen balloon im guessing its hydrogen gas trapped in the pumpkin created by an acid with zinc and magnesium which creates the gas then he puts it to a flame

  • pumkin fire at 2:00

  • why in macedonia we dont have Science class :( i will love to have

  • its probably hydrogen

  • i saw wat it is but im not tellin anyone...

  • @Epiclilivan05 If you saw what it was, you wouldn't have said you saw wat it was. ;)

  • it is acetylene gas, C2H2.

acetylene gas is created by the hydrolysis of calcium carbide:

    CaC2 + 2H2O --> Ca(OH)2 + C2H2

at 2:17 you can see the bubbles of acetylene catching fire, and those are just bubbles. if it is stored up, acetylene can be very dangerous and explosive, so don't hurt yourself unnecessarily. Steve already did the experiment for us!

  • firecrackers ftw >.>

  • haha my chemistry teacher did this about a week or so ago but she waited a lot longer, like 30 seconds and she didnt hold on to the pumpkin.. lets just say that the pumpkin literally exploded and the top hit the ceiling and the glass cylinder shattered everywhere

  • HE IS USING calcium carbide

  • i dont want to be mean but you talk alot .

  • WOAH!!!! his sute was $99 :O

  • omg so dangerous xiao

  • Squirrel what squirrel. All I see is feet XP.

  • I bet he's using calcium carbide.

  • $99.99 suit?

  • I guess he put some pure Zinc metal in Sulfuric Acid. That created Hydrogen Gas, which is Flammable... There Mystery Solved.

  • @Momin1993 or nitrous / liquid TNT

  • @Momin1993 Hydrochloric acid btw :)

  • @Momin1993 or one of the million things that produce hydrogen

  • @Momin1993 I think you are not right. If they used hydrogen gas, it wouldnt produced the black soot. But on the video you may see the black smoke that is made by soot. I think they used calcium carbide what produce acetylene.

  • @Momin1993 this.

the bubbling dish you see inside a pumpkin at the end made me think that.

our teacher filled a balloon with the gas and lit it.

    was pretty cool

  • @Momin1993 not tryin to be a troll but hes probobly using calcium carbide because sulfuric acid could splatter, causeing major calateral damage.

  • I'm guessing the secret is umm an M-80 or 2 oz. of gunpowder or maybe 5 oz. and some gunpowder

  • @jjpjful LMAO He woulda put an M80 in there, he woulda had pumpkin sauce.

  • Okay, now I know that the guy said this is the kind of thing that Chem teachers do and it isn't really something that you should do at home BUT I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!!! I mean super, really, really, very, very, very BADLY want to do this!

  • i think the ingredient is dry ice who knows...

  • why is he always in such a hurry

  • "do u have insurance" lol

  • How did you get all these ideas Steve? They're great!I showed to my family and friends at a halloween party and they loved it!

  • oh ho ho ho holy makrell

  • lol i no the secret ingredient it is so simple

  • @sonicfan1234100 can yu tell me please ill be very careful

  • Boom Head Shot the Cameraman ! LOL

  • I'm wondering if he used carbide and just adds water to it to make it off-gas.

  • i did this in school it was awsome!!!

  • lol

  • WHATS THE SECRET INGREDIENT!!!?

  • My best answer would be to talk to a chemistry teacher at a local school. This is a demonstration that we do for fun, but it can be very dangerous, so we don't give away the secret.

  • @Stevespanglerscience wats thee ingrytyant

  • @Stevespanglerscience magnesium?

  • @baykin420 I THINK ITS ETHANOL

  • @baykin420 some kind of chloride chemical

  • @baykin420 its with calcium carbide i think

  • @baykin420 Calcium Carbide

  • @baykin420

    Nitrogen gas

  • @baykin420 it`s HYDROGEN

  • @baykin420 haha

  • @baykin420 CaC2

  • @baykin420 it is dry ice i think

  • @baykin420 Probably dry ice.

  • @baykin420 the secret is hydrogen my teacher did it but she didnt carve em (:

  • @baykin420 C4

  • @baykin420 its called secret

  • @baykin420 any reaction that releases hydrogen gas. there's many things it could be.

  • @baykin420

    A nuke

    TRY IT

    WTF BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @baykin420 the secret ingredient is 1 1/2 cup of creeper

  • @baykin420 Chemical X

  • @baykin420 calcium carbide in a dish of water, produces acetylene gas

  • ive been tryin to figure out the song of the intro, plese tell me

  • It's called Headspin. It's included in Soundtrack Pro when you purchase Final Cut Studio.

  • wowza

  • hahaha funny

  • Amazing:D

  • Wow. ;-)
