tip: give the brakes (or reverse) just a bit to help level your car when it's in air and you can land on all 4 tires and not have dangerous moments like 1:50. I know your truck didn't break but it is definitely better for your car.

@Freakz0ne12 I never seen a 1/16 Summit in action. It might be the best one. The 1/16 Slash/Revo/Summit have the same running gear. Summit might be slower. They are still so fast. get ready to buy parts. I had the 1/16 REVO .Goes super fast. It jumps high! Flips great. Gets old working on them even using after market pro parts.

@Freakz0ne12 i asked the same question. I turned out with the summit. the slash is more for speed and racing, the summit can climb as well as a crawler. I hope i will help u make ur decision!

@Freakz0ne12 i think the 1/16 summit is better to get but depends on what you want to do for bashing both are good racing 1/16 slash by far and the 1/16 summit doesnt have rock crawling gearing but better ground clearance if you wanted to

There is a easy fix to 2wd slash reliability issues.. pro-line chassis saver, alu shock caps, and rpm shock-towers.. plus the free tape fix on gearcover.. this will only set you back 20-25$.. then you got one of the most durable rc cars for bashing.. I don't think summit will beat slash on durability with these easy mods done.. especially if you run with extra hard spring setup and thicker oil..

Summit sucks the suspension is WAY to soft even on a tiny jump it bottoms out. How does it handle 15-20 feet jumps?

@gtawesom3 I make the springs stiff for the skate park. On the big jumps ? Yeah not so great. It lands on the skid plate. That is one heavy truck!

when the nose is hi......instead of just watchin it destroy the truck on landing, try tapping the brake in the air it will save u some money by bringing the nose down

@fordawsome100 . Not what i know of. The motor is brushed and the radio receiver is not set up for lipo.

@fordawsome100 It is able to run Two 2S Lipos. 3S i dont know but the Maximum voltage from the ESC is 16.8V (2X 2S = 14.4V, 2X 3S= 22,2V) i Thing 2X S2 is the maximum. But the ESC has no Low voltage cutoff!!!

Does the Summit come with a battery? And is it really slow and doesn't get like any air or just not as much as some of the other Traxxas's. I really like it. Also, I think white's the coolest color. Yours looks sick

@newyorkyankeef4n1018 . well i have 5000nimh 8.4 volt batterys made by DTX. They cost the most but last longer.I have a DNYX duel Charger. I really don't know were the best place to buy RC cars. Just google to check out prices. Mine was a gift from my wife.
