For this one it matters very little about which is better, both are equally suited to delivering their payloads on target and accurately and then make a return journey to whatever is left of their base of the retaliatory attacks. if im correct the Ohio class is slightly newer so therefore may have some slight technological advantage in terms of computing power etc but then again im sure Vanguard has its own advantages, but apart from that there is little to separate them, they are roughly equal

For this one it matters very little about which is better, both are equally suited to delivering their payloads on target and accurately and then make a return journey to whatever is left of their base of the retaliatory attacks. if im correct the Ohio class is slightly newer so therefore may have some slight technological advantage in terms of computing power etc but then again im sure Vanguard has its own advantages, but apart from that there is little to separate them, they are roughly equal

The Virginia class sub is bar none the quietest, and one of the fastest subs out there. Its stealth makes the astute look like a toy. Also, the Type 45 is not that much better than our old Arleigh burke destroyers(which we have 57 of)
and there are only 3 type 45's made.
Also, our upcoming zumwalt destroyer makes the type 45 look like childs play.

First of all, not only will the zumwalt have MUCH more firepower, and technology on it(being that i cost about the same as a supercarrier) but it has much much much more stealth, faster, and has the capability to still fire many missiles after being hit many times by itself.
Also, the zumwalt is TWICE as heavy as the type 45. And we WILL have 3 not 2.
Also, the virginia class has more stealth than what the astute has when the virginia's going at 20 knots.

GFP is a peice of shit, RN official web site gives 109 ships, not 135 like GFP. I dont count small shitty speed boats. However, the RN operates 120+ assualt vessels under the Royal Marines, so even adding every little vessel would bring a total near 230, not 130.

Your quote from GFP was from the homepage, not the page with all of the up to date statistics. They wouldn't put an exact number like 1559 or 135 if they didn't have concrete evidence. When they give that disclaimer, they are talking about when they round off and so forth.

The ohio has 24x trident(2) missile tubes, while the vanguard has 16x trident(1). Not only that but our ballistic missiles go 500 mi LONGER than the ones on the vanguard.Oh and the vanguard doesn't even carry tomahawk missiles like ours does. That means a LOT.
