  • Wow I love playing this song on the piano, but this is what makes me want to play the saxophone as well.

  • I sound better on a Yamaha YAS-23

  • @Passion613

  • @MrROMMEO Thank you man.

  • Nice playing, I've seen a lot of the Yamaha Custom Z's lately. Did you compare it to the lacquered and silver-plated models as well? What is your take on the black nickel finish?

    Regards,

    SaxDude ;)

  • Yuk, I'll never buy a custom Z.

  • Hello

You play very well. What mouthpiece do you use?

    Greetings

  • Bro Your Dining rooms arranged a lot like mine! lol.

  • Good tone. Remember one vintage piece. Is unlacqued model ?

  • @GILVANDO it is lacquered and believe me, it sounds awesome!!!! Thanks for the comment.

  • Oh heavens.... That's a nice looking saxophone. You're really good. Wow. I wish I could play like that..

  • WOW.......

  • Real Cool Man!!!!..........

  • bravo valisax

  • Great Sound and nice jazz ballard. Keep blowing!

  • Hi guys .I owned a 82Z unlacquered alto for a while that I traded in for a Borgani pearl gold. The 82 z is very versatile, beautiful action and very respondant to different ways of playing. Just a little thin on upper register and less lush in tone than the Borgani I bought, but it's a matter of taste then The 875 is much stiffer instrument and has a less interesting tone for jazz IMHO

  • ur a gr8 sax player. could u teach me how 2 play that!

  • It would be real pleasure for me. Thanks,

  • Thanks for that info.

  • i like custom z's. I use my custom Z for jazz and it's great!

if you replace the resinators on the custom Z with metal ones (like they have in selmers), the sound becomes even more freeblowing, vibrant, and can help with projection

  • Sorry, I would not dare to say a thing about the 875EX. I don't know it buddy.

  • Apteur, the 82Z my friend. I haven't tried the 62, however a friend o'mine have one. It is very good too, but I still believe the 82Z has a better sound and I also believe it is because of the way it is manufactured, they use a different alloy in the 82Z. I'm very happy I got the 82Z: it is an excellent iron. I believe it is a matter of about $500 from the 62 to the 82: My friend, it worth it!!!!

  • woow nice sound !!! im plannig to buy a new one but i hesitate between a custom 875EX or a 82Z and a 62 II wich one should a pick... :(

  • I have the 875EX custom. I love it. Its an awesome horn. I played the custom Z and the EX at the same time and i liked the 875 EX better, they are similar but i think the reaction was better with the EX and it was more versatile between classical and jazz

  • Hey man, that was great. I'm thinking of buying the Custom Z. It's a very great sounding horn for an very nice price. How have you liked it so far?

  • Let me tell you, I'm very pleased and glad I decided by that one. I went from an AS-100 (equivalent to an actual YAS-23 I believe) to the Custom Z. Some people and comments I've read prefer the golden one instead of the one I have (black laquered), but man the black one looks great, I love my iron, is very smooth to play and as i said the sound is awesome. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it!!!

  • Cool, glad to hear it. I am actually upgrading from a YAS-23 as well.I'm very excited about getting it. Thanks for the feedback man.
