I'm not a big fan of how Nightwing handles in this game, especially his fighting style. I just feel like Batman flows better and you can actually follow his movements when he takes someone down. Nightwing's combat focuses WAY too much on his stun batons (which are cool, but I still think he should use his fists and feet every now and then). I do have to agree that his gadgets are very creative and fun to use, but I think his hand-to-hand moments could have been done a little better.

I don't play Arkham City anymore and I never died when playing as Nightwing. (probably because I didn't play too much) and Robin never crashes my game. Weird.

I think Robin should of at least got his own storyline.

I would of liked to see what he had to go through in Gotham City with the cure, since most likely villains are still in Gotham, they could of also put Tim Drake/Red Hood in there as a boss for Robin. Oh well guess i'll just wait 2-3 years for Arkham World :/

He's DLC and I meant free-roam.. Nightwing can't free roam unless you mod the game and only for PC.

Nah man. It's much better as Batman. Nightwing can't even glide. Robin can glide but he can't divebomb. So Batman is the best for free-roaming since he's the most mobile.

i hope they don't fuck up the next game by having you play as different characters throughout the story. I like the feeling of being batman, and going through his story- my story as batman. I didn't like having to play as catwoman, that really pulled me out of the experience. It would be alright if they had batman's campaign, which is the main focus, and then have short campaigns for other characters that run parallel with batman's. Or just playing as batman by himself, except in challenge mode.

PC game had Catwoman's story incorporated directly into the game working parallel to Batman's Story. Console versions had to use the DLC code to get her and play the missions on the side.

Which works with what you want on both times. You said it would be okay if it was a side thing or works parallel to Batman's.

@gokrill no... if you downloaded it when you bought it then it was straight into it as well, starting with catwoman and switch back and forth between her and batman at certain points in the story, where they interact with each other ie catwoman tries to rob two face and batman saves her. I meant a completely seperate campaign that only hints at batman being in the game, but once you play both campaigns you see how they correlate with one another

@zachdesoto Because i like the feeling of "being batman" that is why i hate call of duty, i never feel attatched to a character because if he gets domed, i will just play as someone else. Batman arkham asylum was made for players to feel like batman, in the fact that every event happened consecutively in one night and you were there every minute, and how it incorporated batmans fears, and how it involved the player in bruce/batman's past. That is what i like, attatchment.

No.. All 4 characters can do that.

Batman has a cape for gliding and moving around well.

Catwoman has a whip to help her move around decently.

Robin and Nightwing aren't meant for FREE-ROAM however Robin has a cape.

Nightwing doesn't have a cape. He uses a hang glider. But obviously they didn't need to add one in the challenge maps. Also it would be weird to bring a hang glider into Arkham City.

umm.. well I have a Batman GTA San Andreas mod.

You get almost every Bat vehicle created from the cartoons, tv show and movies. ("cars", bats, helicopters and "jets")

There is also the batcave from batman begins (the one that's all white or w/e full of lights)

And there is also wayne manor and a batcave underneath it. Pretty sick.

When you change the file the changes aren't made to your current game. You have to create a new game and that new game automatically starts at the very end of the game, AKA free roam mode.

Actually Nightwing can only glide in like 2 cartoons. He isn't supposed to glide. He uses an actual glider like the one Leonardo da Vinci designed.

From what I heard, Nightwing doesn't actually have wings. He uses an actual type of glider to glide. It was just in Batman: The Animated Series and The Batman that gave him those wings. (I think)
