Yamaha does have a few pro riders out there... just search Dustin Nelson and you will find some of his ITP QUADCROSS and WORCS races.. Dustin is a quick MO'.

and also about the 450r vs 700 thing, stock for stock (both with the FI) they are pretty much even in a drag, but once you open up the 450r and 700 with a pipe or intake, the 450r is going to pull away from the 700.

I love my YFZr.. just remember that the 450r/ex was designed strictly for racing wether it is MX, or Woods racing/riding.

the 450 and 700 are both excellent machines, and both built for different things. the 450 is a racer and built for speed and racing, while the 700 is a sport quad bulit for all round fun.

standard a 450 will beat a 700, but a modified 700 will give it a run for its money.

raptors will beat a yfz in a drag race, its just too bad those pieces of complete fucking shit weigh too much, have a horrible center or gravity, and lose in other situation other than drag racing.

a raptor 700 weighs about 17 lbs more... the center of gravity can be fixed by widening it easily and they also are great trail bikes and ride nice and smooth and can even go through mud pretty well

a yfz 450 wins every time in a drag actually... the raptor is far more comfy than the 450 though cause it feels like a gd box... i know this from personal exp and ive seen them race before and driven both...

i have a yfz and i'm riding a raptor 700 right now while my yfz gets a new top end. compared to the yfz the raptor handles like pure crap and is alot slower than my yfz. trust my i've ridden my yfz for hundreds of hours and the raptor for at least 50. the yfz will beat any raptor unless its heavily modded but in the end it all depends on the rider. oh and one more thing. i have a yfz 450. this is a yfz450r which has 15% more horsepower stock.
