  • una ves mas intentare pedir si es posible, que estos videos de leccion sea traducidos o que tengan subtitulos en español,desde ya muy agradecido.soy ROBERO ARCE DE ARGENTINA.

  • nice to point out the quarter-tone bend on a 3-draw on the tonic/i-chord, while it's a "full" half-step bend on the subdominant/IV-chord.

The reason, is of course that it's a VIIb against the D-chord, so you need the proper blue note. It's all about those kind of subtleties - thanks it's all coming together with these lessons!

  • Exactly. You got it.

  • Thanks Adam, I love this song. Now i know more about what to play with it.

  • Hello! Exelentes the videoes! an embrace .......

  • Adam, love the hook in this song. Made me practice tongue blocking-something I need to do. This lesson has really made me a better player. Thanks again for all your help. You da man.

  • Hey Adam, Thanks for this. I downloaded the song off of ITunes. I hope that you will do a final lesson on this.

  • Yes, I've got one more coming up.

  • Hi Adam, this lesson has been revolutionary for me. Things are finally falling in to place. And what a lovely tune it is too. I will always remember "Sanctified Blues" as the one that changed things around for me. Thanks again!

  • Adam put all the videoes subtitled in Spanish in CDs and we buy them you. You are the best because one notices that you love what you do. Thank you.

    It is an automatic translation

  • Adam, this is a great song of this album. You have such a nice vibrato on the blue third...I try to get it, especialy in the low keys. "Little Red Rooster" is a nice song too with great chords and your solos in these songs are like no one else. Hope I could see you on stage soon! Thanks!

  • Thanks again for a great lessons on a great song. I've been practicing the blue third with vibrato and thought it was sounding good. Then I listened to yours. WOW. Back to the woodshed for me.

  • Thanks for another great tutorial Adam

  • Thanks Adam! Not only do you have great harp skills but you have great teaching skills also.

  • I really like how you edited this video. Adding the music you mentioned and those pauses... Got a nice effect with the flow of the lesson.

As for the material you're teaching, always good stuff as always.

  • Hi Adam! Hey, 2 quick things I'd like to tell you...

THANK you for doing what you are doing!!

I'm a harp freak, and I super appreciate all the help, guidance, assistance, and motivation that your shelling out! Really! Second point is, I'm truly sorry that once in a while you get a real jerk posting about stuff that nobody cares about.

Elvisload, etc. etc. Thank you again! RicklesssssssssS

  • You really hate him don´t you? Well actually he has a done a lot for harmonica players around the world. There are some of us who because of location can´t find a good teacher, and believe this videos had been a bleasing for people like me. Well and as far as I know there a lot of real explotations, like say for example Mickey Mouse was gonna be a Human Patrimony until some Disney lawyers stoped that. You should be worrying about that kind of explotations.

  • Elvisload - You seem out of touch with what Adam's trying to do here. If you have a worthwhile point, it's not being communicated effectively. Is there something wrong with revisiting a song for instructional and inspirational purposes? It's free. It draws upon popular music to Adam's fans. It has nothing to do with your accusations of "half crazy old black street musicians" and everything to do with music. Dignify your opinions with some substance. Trolling on the 'net died in the 90's.

  • Brilliant. I love your 3-draw bend vibrato and tone, it's gorgeous.

  • One of the YouTube harmonica guys said:

    Imitate

    Assimilate

    Innovate

Couldn't have said it any better. All musicians do this. It's especially true with forms like Jazz and Blues, where you have one ear to the past and one to the future.

  • That's exactly right. Thanks for reminding us.

  • Keep 'em coming Adam. Great stuff.

I run my harp through a Behringer VD400 Analog Delay. I didn't get it for this purpose but it sounds great, especially considering it's a $25 pedal.

  • You need to get the next vid up. as soon as possible. lol cant wait

  • Hi Adam, your videos really help us and make a lot of difference!!

    Thank you again"""

  • thanks adam yet another fantastic vid cheers
