My hats off to the guy who did this. He was able to instill discipline and order among inmates using music instead of violence and force. Moreover something like this also brings back your dignity as a human being which will be crucial for your reintegration back to society. The dance steps alone are complicated much more their amazing coordination.

.....these Phillipino inmates have to undergo dance therapy. The warden started program after watching The Shawshank Redemption inspired by the Mozart music scene. Visitors can watch the performances every Saturday, take pics with criminal/rapists/murderers, and even buy orange souvenir T-shirts. That's what I call CAPITALism Punishment.

@terryrbarry eh... watching a routine of inmates dancing is not the same as watching "Lock up". Also, US is multi-ethnicity and people in prison get divided (racism is a big issue in US prisons), while in the Phillipines, the race is mostly pinoys.so ppl have lesser problem with each other there.

I think the qualifications for being an inmate in this prison is you MUST have great talent!! How could they teach ALL these inmates to do this routine!? I'd say if they can do all this, then they can figure out how to live an HONEST and DECENT life on the "outside." In fact, teach them MJ's Man In the Mirror... oh, and MJ's Heal the World. Then make them take a pledge "on MJ's honor" to live only to help his fellow man, then set them free to "make that change."
