can you do a vid explaining how these work i keep trying to understand the cycles but kepp getting confused, like some towers have fans for the water or water sprayers, ah im getting all confused again!
I heard that in the early days of A/C in PHX, some buildings had their own well for condenser water. No tower, no recirculation, no mineral build up. Just pump from the well, thru condenser, and out into the drain. Sounds pretty wasterful, but in those days I guess they weren't worring about the groundwater level.

I think I've heard something similar as well.
Amazingly, Phoenix does ok with their water supply.
It woulod be better though if we got some more rains (and then snow) up North to run off back into the desert.

We have a chemical guy who's been coming for years. He's pretty cool.
He even sponsored a training class last year in Scottsdale which was cool.
He was here today, actually, for his monthly visit.
