Sorry people I love Shakira's songs and I like her song of 'Waka waka' but I prefere the original waaay better
I'm from Cameroon, I have nothing against Shakira but I only say this once, she made it and I'm proud of it that the whole world could listen to this song but yet I'm quite dissappointed that she chose that song :'( I prefered she made her own african song. cuz since this song is one of my favourite, I don't like when she uses that song aswell :'( but still I like the both song's :)

Alright so Shakira didn't steal this. She gave full credit to the origin and it's called a cover, in the music world this is generally considered a show of great respect and admiration for the original. Shakira's version doesn't lose the meaning of the song, it's about Africa for goodness sake and it features an African band. It's not like she is singing it about Latin America.
