I want to lay 900mm square wooden tiles as a pathway in the garden(hard clay type sub-base). I will remove soil and weeds, rough level and lay weedmat. I could level of with small stones and lay the woodem tiles on top. I am concerned they will misalign and shift, One option is to lay treated 4X2 as an edging to keep the path straight and stable, Both tiles and 4X2s will need to be soaked in preservative stain (Zyladekor). Will the lumber framing create a problem?
