Hi Larry, think we spoke a while ago, did you ever happen to find out what happened to Tony Luke at all? I'm still a bit sad this whole project went bust, and will admit, this short was not the best way for them to get out on, did Luke just get fed up?

I really think you've got some great artwork here Larry, and I think that aside from Dominator, I like Lady Violator because she's half-succubus. Succubi are among one of my favourite things to research on Google. I'm always trying to find new information on them. I used to draw anime/manga too for a hobby, but ever since finishing college a few years back I haven't had much interest in it. Anyways, I enjoyed watching this so thanks for sharing this with us!

Awesome art work and story, should make a second one where the dominator meet the 4 horse man of the apocalypse. The horse man were upset that he destroy the world they were assign to and try to kill him. well that my thoughts

I have always thought that Dominator and HellKatt where wasted. They could do so much more with them than what they have done.

I would have loved to see how this turned out. Coming from Newgrounds, where I've seen some great animated comics like Broken Saints, would've watched this instantly. (In my experience, if you didn't state it's an animated comic, they'd rip ya to shreds.) Would you pick it back up if offered the chance?

@avalonknight Well, I don't know how much involvement I would have had in this if it had taken off, I was only commissioned to do these pieces (and there was quite a history behind the franchise already).

But I never knew Broken Saints originated form NG. I sort of watched it about 10 years, I could never really get into it, but that was one of the early web franchises, it was around whilst I was working on NBK.

Well not bad and I did notice you said "old project" so I can forgive its cliches for being of the time it was created where lots of stories fell into that ilk. And the boobs are just fine at the size chosen, the only thing I can't stand is when artists get fixated on a single cup size or figure shape and stamp out "new characters" ad nauseum.

This was so Cheezy it was awesome. Looking back im sure you can only laugh as the cliches have become more obvious. Great Parody of anime/manga story lines and the semi mediocre artwork just made it even better!

there's something quite wrong with this, the start just throws you into the story immediately and drowns you in it, everything is told to you immediately what would make it better is if you revealed this information later on through dialect with the characters or very brief flashbacks, i was a tad put off by the anime styling but ill let that slide

Oh...wow, I'm assuming this is quite old because put bluntly the characters suck, the artwork is passable for a starting web comic and the plot sounds dreadfully run of the mill.The voice over is okay though.

I just did a rush job on the art because of a tight deadline, but Dominator was around long before I was involved. There's a lot about it on wikipedia.

@rebirthangel I must confess I've not had chance to draw anything since the Battle Kid cover, I was supposed to do the cover for Ashen's second DVD, but that's kind of got put on the wayside.

I really want to start again soon though.

Oh, for anyone who's not into Domintor, the original story was in no way as wonderfully cheesy as this. xD In the original movie (based on an old manga series), Dominator was not a teenage boy with a Sailor Moon complex, but a demon from hell who's accidentally summoned by three rock chicks. I highly recommend watching the original film (no idea if it's still being sold, so you might have to download it), it's got a lot of great, british humour, plus the voices of Dani Filth and Doug Bradley. :)

@LarryBundyJr I don't think i've come across any of your other art. All I ever saw of Dominator was the movie, the Heavy Metal crossover, the Dominator X trailer, and the Dominator X short manga.

Also, I don't know Tony Luke (just a fan), and have no idea what he's doing nowadays. The Wikipedia article on Renga Media is incredibly outdated...it seems to have been last updated back when the website actually existed. :P

Also, huge fan of the old film here. I discovered it not long after I first started using Poser 4 at the age of 14, and was really curious to see what a film using it looked like. Was really looking forward to the Dominator X reboot (which used Hiro3 and Aiko3 by Daz 3D, two of my favourite Poser figures at the time), but of course that got cancelled as you probably already know.

Thing is, I have never seen this video before, so I never knew the basic storyline. Now I know. Thanks! :D

I'd like to see you make a project on your own. I'm not too taken with the way this works with your art.

On your art, is it still at that level? I'd like to see some lineart that wasn't rushed. Glad to know that isn't your colouring - it's pretty gash, to be honest.

@Broshmosh Indeed, Whenever someone colours in my art, it turns out pretty awful, I had a big argument with the Battle Kid guy, Sivak over insisting I colour it myself int he revision of the game.

But my Deviant Art page has some better looking pieces in it.
