So you lean on universal common ancestry? For me personally, I think that there are real problems with that because we don't have enough information about the original ecosystem. Also, we don't know enough about how cells interact and what is possible in terms of microbial "learning". But what we do know is that organisms already possess many unique adaptive mechanisms, but these mechanisms don't seem to lead to new kinds of organisms. It's hypothetical.

Chromosome # varies greatly among species. Evolution does predict that closely related species should have similar chromosome numbers. But it's not just the number that should be similar. The chromosomes themselves should match up.

You dont technically need to rework an entire DNA strand to evolve, simple point mutations in a DNA sequence to change an entire animal. DNA is mad of genes, which are mad of Amino Acids, which are made by coded instuctions. If even 1 of the 4 codes (A,T,C,G) are altered, they change the Amino Acid which would change the gene, which, depending on it's importance, could physically change the animal. And as for the behavior, instict passed on from millenia of generations.

So you lean on universal common ancestry? For me personally, I think that there are real problems with that because we don't have enough information about the original ecosystem. Also, we don't know enough about how cells interact and what is possible in terms of microbial "learning". But what we do know is that organisms already possess many unique adaptive mechanisms, but these mechanisms don't seem to lead to new kinds of organisms. It's hypothetical.

But the animal you're referring to is called the Sinornithosaurus which there are fossils of if you google image search them.But it is fact that this creature evolved into the bird of today. Yes, climate does have alot to do with evolution, but so does the change of habitat which will cause species to migrate elsewhere if it feels it cant live comfortably where it was. That are species do inherit genes from their parents. Are you 1/2&1/2 like Evol&Creat.?

Chromosome # varies greatly among species. Evolution does predict that closely related species should have similar chromosome numbers. But it's not just the number that should be similar. The chromosomes themselves should match up.
The fact that some distantly related species have the same # of chromosomes is merely due to chance. The chromosomes themselves differ significantly in size and in the actual genetic material.

You dont technically need to rework an entire DNA strand to evolve, simple point mutations in a DNA sequence to change an entire animal. DNA is mad of genes, which are mad of Amino Acids, which are made by coded instuctions. If even 1 of the 4 codes (A,T,C,G) are altered, they change the Amino Acid which would change the gene, which, depending on it's importance, could physically change the animal. And as for the behavior, instict passed on from millenia of generations.

y5nthon5a. i will tell you why. you cant interbredd species, so a half human half monkey hybrid is impossible. the reason monkeys are still around is because they didnt need to adapt to fit there environments. they are well suited. change isnt instant, it happens over long periods of time. example. if you put orangutans in a desert. generation after generation the amount of hair will become less. ending in either a hairless, or short haired orangutan. there you go

I didn't poke fun at anybody for believing in God. I poke fun at people who DON'T "believe in" evolution, simply because it conflicts with their RELIGION. There is a big difference between a simple belief in God and a strict adherence to religion. Rejection of scientific data that has been solidly proven because it conflicts with religious beliefs is ridiculously stupid. Such people deserve mocking.
