I have honestly no idea why she is not famous she has perfect control and support in her voice and you can also tell her technique is very sloid! This was such a great performance and wonderfully interpreted Great job I absolutely loved it!
when had she sung this? I think, it´s a great performence, i like her soft voice, in this songs, she had somethink pathetic, it fits with the text! I can´t understand, why anyone could not like this!
I wished I could have heard her singing live. It's really sad I can't have a chance to do so in my life. Elizabeth, rest in peace. We'll remember you.
I'm really pleased this is posted.. I am learning the Bellini songs. Can someone console me about the fact that many of the great songs are about a man's love for a woman, and unfortunately I don't feel happy singing them. Can someone change my mind?
Lucky you to be able to sing such beautiful songs! I think they were probably written for castrati or countertenors. Since there aren't too many castrati running around now, and there never have been many countertenors, if women didn't sing them, they wouldn't get sung, and what a shame that would be!
I started listening to her and wasn't convinced. By the end of the first aria, I was. She was a very good singer. Very special. Brava.

These songs were not written for castrati and they can also be sung by male voices.

Hey it's about the voice and not about her outward! She's a classical singer and NOT a model.

she sang much more splendidly in her 20's and 30's. in my opinion, her voice represented the real meaning of colorature. she is wonderful.
