Hate it when people say it happenes for a reason. (even though it is true) I have always wanted to join the military since i was 4 and now im 17. I cant because of asthma. My brother-in-law John LaBossiere was one of them. He "came" home from Iraq physically but not mentally.

A son, brother, husband, father, brother-in-law and Uncle was lost that day!

im a war veteran too, i served in iraq for 16 months, i know what its like, we dont want to be heroes. not what we're there for, we dont want the title of hero. we arent't, just people who want to help others. its just something in us. great song though

now, i like josh gracin a lot, but i disagree, he's not a hero...he writes songs, really fantastic songs that open your eyes, but how is that heroic? the whole point of this song is to recognize the heros that aren't noticed, that don't recieve the appreciation they deserve, not for him to gain the title of 'hero'

Im an Army Wife. My husband is currently in Iraq. I havent seen him in 191 days and still have many more before hes home in my arms. This song made me cry. Josh Gracin is an amazing man. He is a Marine. Even though he doesnt wear the uniform anymore he will always be a Marine. But I love our Military. So God Bless them all and I pray for their safe return. I love you Matthew!!
