  • according to their own words....you're the tool....are you gonna like be a millionaire someday or something? wish you b.o.b. so tyler would....nevermind

  • Why they protesting this... Should be protesting California Dream Act......

CA Dream Act = Higher Tuition and More difficult getting into classes!!!

  • protest is dumb

it means you have already accepted the system as it is

revolt instead and kill those nazi pigs and take back whats your's

or remain slaves for ev0r meh

  • that's ME at :50 carrying a skateboard and the partition with my friend, to put in front of seated peaceful protesters....does it look like i'm charging police? me and two of my friends were among those shot....can you hear how many went off? they were SO close. they kept shooting even when we were way far back. you can see how the police tried to initiate violence repeatedly. how in the world is shooting into a crowd going to de-escalate anything?

  • @leerogersucla Seemed to work pretty well to me you fucking hippie.

  • @ihaveacar yeah...the way everyone was screaming and running for their lives, great. are you a fucking narc?

  • @leerogersucla Running for their lives? Fucking tool.

  • absolutely disgusting.

  • @bkisme, that's probably why the administrators department is raising tuition up because of the declining of students enrollments @ UC.

  • fucking koskeshs

  • It's pretty eerie thinking I was in my econ section within 100 feet of this. I was wondering where all that chanting was coming from...

  • Absolutely disgusting. Chief Diaz has allowed his dept. to play mercenaries for hire! I can no longer say I support the Riverside Police Dept. if this is how they treat the taxpayers that pay their checks. We'll see how long it takes them to grow up and remember who they serve.

  • do these cops even realize they are a wall of demon-pigs guilty of treason?

  • Police Dept should wear uniform with their corporate sponsored logos on them, just like NASCAR drivers.

  • Yes if its to protect themselves against these al capone style mafia criminals.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • These are not police. They are corporate thugs.

  • so its ok for protesters to try to hurl a barricade at the police?

  • @imtedkopple They were trying to put the barricade between them, not to hurl it.

  • Students should not attend college for one whole semester, to show these crooks who have control.

  • @hapch100 UCR runs on quarters.

It's funny thought, because if every UC student in CA did this, it would absolutely have an effect, but I don't see this happening so much as there being a slow decline in attendance as prices reach absurd levels.

  • These are students~ our future.

Shame on the U C regents! shame on the police!

  • I'm getting extremely tired of police brutality in the face of peaceful protests. When I know that those students...so young...are facing a lifetime of crushing debt in a ruined economy while 1% bankster regents, who BENEFIT FINANCIALLY from student loans, destroy the great PUBLIC universities of California...well, it's an absolute outrage. Heap this disgusting violence on top of that makes me incandescent. Welcome to fascism. The boot. On the face. Again and again.

  • Fucking cowards. Hiding behind their body armor and batons. These are the people that should be locked in cages like the animals they are: these pathetic excuses for humanity we call the police.

  • These pigs make me sick.

  • Glad to see the protesters are getting angry at the right people for once, though...

  • And people say videogames and movies have desensitized us to violence... Nobody here was injured. The police officer was pushing them back with the baton because they were gettin' all up in his grill and he couldn't see. If you think there was violence in this video, you don't know what the meaning of the word "violence" is.

  • @murmurmerman I think you have become desensitized to violence.

  • fuckin PIGS

  • Occupy!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone who complains about being shoved, jabbed with batons, shot with pellet guns or paintball guns, tased, pepper sprayed for protesting, peaceful or not, needs to take a second, back up a bit, and watch the syrian protests, then watch civil rights riots in the 60s. We American's seem to differ on what entails "police brutality" because I think you are spoiled.

  • "jabbed with batons" yeah ok

  • SPREAD THIS VIDEO. i watched it on globalrevolution livestream last night, right after a video of violence in syria. it was hard to tell at first what country this was coming from. WE need to make sure THE WHOLE WORLD watches this video, because the main stream media is not telling the story, and this is not the america that most people know...yet.

  • The protestors are not peaceful, no matter how many times they chant it. They are confrontational. The protestors "demanding" that the regents meet with them is, by itself, a word that explains that this was not peaceful.

  • Police = vaccinated, fluoride, aluminium, happy mealed , cybog trained Nazi robots.

Students = Meat; to be microwaved, frozen, beaten with a meat cleaver (stick held by cyborgs, as described above).

  • @ Ronaldsanfran, yes I did.

  • Conform! indoctrinate kids... now! worship the USA!

    Remember "USA #1" !

  • Doesn't the 'star' on their 'police badge, represent the - Star of Satan - just like the Israel flag does.........

  • JUST JUMP THE FUCKING COPS! Don't let them hurt you!

  • fuckin hippies

  • Yelling peaceful protest while pushing into the cops and throwing barriers at them doesn't make it a peaceful protest.

  • @ihaveacar Yep, I agree with you ihaveacar. The protestors seem to think that if they say "peaceful" many many times that somehow it will be peaceful.

  • @ihaveacar pretty much sums this up.

  • When I find myself in times of trouble

    Mother Mary comes to me

    Speaking words of wisdom

    Let it be

And in my hour of darkness

She is standing right in front of me

    Speaking words of wisdom

    Let it be

  • this shit is going to get bigger and bigger, down with capitalism, down with the international banking cartels, up with humanity. The rightful rulers of the world are the people not the banks and there money!

  • Fuck those cops. Anonymous will most likely release the information on them and their families ready for more life ruin. Laughter occurring.

  • Police are instigators, it's alright for them to attack you but if you fight back in defense you will get slapped with a felony charges, a way to keep ppl down and stay in low level paying jobs.

  • We have the right to demonstrate...God damn it !

  • I just called the uc Riverside police and told the operator they should be shameful about what happened, and she replied back I should be shameful aswell.

  • @hapch100 Wow! Sounds to me you really got under her skin and that they've been catching a lot of s*#!. Congrats Riverside for fighting. You have our total support and solidarity from Berkeley!!

  • UC Davis and UC Berkeley keep getting the worst of it. The same place where students were shot and killed by police in the 60s. Occupy Yakima stands with you in solidarity!

  • We are now in 2012, not 2011! Unless that was from a year ago and old news.

  • @diggitydogg76 thanks, corrected it!

  • Fukk the occupy movement.

  • small note: not to be nitpicky, but you wrote "On January 19, 2011". it's now 2012.

  • @scullweaver thank you, it is correct now.

  • I wonder what would happen if these protesters ever started shooting non-lethal projectiles at the police under the auspices of protecting their safety.

Keep saying to yourself: "I am Free."

  • Loyal defenders of the 1%

  • @JoelBitarProductions Men and women doing a part of their job they never want to get up in the morning to do... well most of them anyway.

  • @JoelBitarProductions I bet you a good portion of them are paying (in part or full) some of the exorbitant tuition that has many of the people out there.

  • @whiteguyphil No excuse for using violence in order to defend the status quo a.k.a. oppress the middle class for the benefit of the rich. The class war is alive and well. The police are an oppressive institution, no doubt about it.

  • @JoelBitarProductions Agreed, and the class war has never died IMO....

  • I really don't like these small clips, they do both sides an injustice by not showing the whole chain of events and can easily be taken out of context (kinda like the mainstream media does). I am not condoning what the police did, but it seemed to be directed at the individuals carrying the metal crowd divider. In a situation as presented above, it could be misconstrued as a weapon. UCR is my alma mater, it is surreal to see this happening on familiar ground.

  • peaceful protest? come on...not really. shouting and initimidating the police and the regents...

  • @lepermessiah01 The police are dressed in full riot gear. Do you really think they are intimidated by the assembly of a movement known around the world for it's commitment to nonviolence? On the contrary, it is the deployment of riot cops against peaceful assemblies on UC campuses that is intended to be intimidating.

  • @lepermessiah01 BAHAHAHA "intimidating" the police. the antonym of peace given by webster's dictionary is "war". last time i checked, bullets hurt more then words.. This is how social reform is achieved. proof? grab your closest U.S. History book...from highschool. problem solved, problem staying solved, rangers lead the way. (AFT)

  • @lasarmasputos You're obviously misinformed. I was there. at 0:50. I wasn't doing SHIT, except standing there. Hell I wasn't even chanting, yet I got shot too. Explanation pl0x?

  • @silentxriver The police do not see the silent peaceful protestors in a crowd of people shouting and holding signs in front of their faces. Your mistake may have been sitting too close to those protestors wearing masks and escalating an already tense situation. Put yourself in their shoes, what would you be feeling facing a few hundred unknown shouting individuals who seemingly have no respect for you?

  • @whiteguyphil In their shoes, that's even easier. You don't open blind fire into a crowd. That was more like a panic move, which is horrible coming from a supposedly trained officer.

  • @silentxriver you are obviously missing the point... What happened to get this trained officer in a panic? Peaceful protesters do not put people in a state where they feel they have to open fire into an unarmed crowd. Keep in mind I am in full agreement with the message of the protest and am playing "devil's" advocate.

  • @lasarmasputos With these "he said, she said" situations you can never really tell what happened, who predicated the actions that took place. Whatever the whole story is, very few people will be privy to it unfortunately. Makes me wonder how the history books will write this period of time out....

  • @whiteguyphil Those cops were idiots who panicked too soon. They should be trained not to react to any little thing, especially words. The only time they should ever react is to physical force. And I don't think there's ANY reason to open fire into an unarmed crowd if hypothetically one protester crossed the line.

  • @silentxriver "pellet guns" cry me a river.

  • @notatrolll Those weren't pellets, you troll. Go change your name.
