Oh yeah, could you also go over your approach to the lines "you know I don't mind" on how to get that low and high mixed effect of a lower octave loud resonance while getting that higher falsetto/head combo? Thanks.
Well, this song is pretty hard and I cant pull it off on a regular basis. This song uses all parts of the male voice, and all parts need to be warmed up and developed. This is defiantly not a song I can sing "on demand" unless ive had a good warmup.
Hey, could you comment on how you sang the part going into the chorus part? I always start in chest voice but when I move to mixed, I lose the notes or something weird happens. Could you highlight your approach? Thanks.
The most important thing about this song is that 90% of it is going to be in the "mixed voice". Transitioning into falsetto here is just going to be used as a tool for overall impact, but the only parts I sing in full falsetto here are the parts where im trying to blend in with Shelbys voice.
In regards to you other comment, ill try and explain it the best I can.
"Noooo ooOOO I dont mind and"
"Noooooo" is mixed
"ooo OO oooOO" is chest
"I" is transitioning
"dont" is mixed
"mind and" is full falsetto
I do full falsetto at the end to taper it off.
The best advice I can give you is practice the thing in ALL FALSETTO. Doing this is going to make the transition easier. Dont worry if the chest notes come out bad at first when doing this.
