The last few minutes almost made me cry because what is done in those last few minutes is incredibly touching. That's something Saw would never do to you. It's a whole different concept, torturing people to manage that you yourself will die in a certain amount of time and let people decide wether they or the person they love most will die. It's way more cruel, I think.

I can't decide whether to watch this or not . . it looks like a good film and thought provoking, but I am not good with gore. I like CSI and Sweeny Todd was too satirical/OTT to scare me, but things like Saw, I just cannot deal with.

I asked my older cousin to buy one for me cause I'm underage and than when I was going to enter with the ticked he bought me the clerk called me saying that she didnt remember me buying the ticked and whatever , and I was insisting that I bought with a clerk that had already left lol so she called the menager , he asked for my ID and fucked everything up xD

This movie is great, thrilling and suspensful. It has much more "sense" than useless Saw movies. Stellan Skarsgard and Melissa George showed brilliant acting. Selma Blair was fantastic as the main villain.

For your information I've seen all the Saw movies so far.

I haven't seen the WAZ movie, but seeing the trailer you can tell that it has many common things, as the image look, the camera movements and the explicit "gore" scenes.

This easily leads to think about SAW, and then the name of the film has also 3 letters, 2 of wich are the same and the other very similar when you reverse it. Put WAZ in a mirror and you get almost SAW.

May it be some kind of tribute?

Of course the S and the Z are not the same letter, but they are quite silmilar. is like the 3 and the E, or the 4 and the A, they are different, but you still can write things like "b3tt3r" 0r "cr4zy"

My point is just that a film that at first sight looks much like SAW, is called WAZ, instead of "Letal equations", "The revenge of the Nerds", or "Mistery Murder in the swimmingpool", to say something.

This movie was ok,the acting wasnt up to much,and thats what let it down for me. I didnt think it was like saw,maybe at the very end. The story was good though,and Selma Blair played a very convincing victim.

I love psychological crime thrillers but hate Saw films, they have lost their edge now.

I wouldn't be suprised if these modern horrors will get a "scary movie" style spin off eventually.

People should really stop saying that and just stop watching movies if they don't understand the storylines, saw was about a man giving people who were wasting their lives a second chance at life if they wanted it, to teach them about the value of life.

Waz was about a person taking revenge by doing to others what they had done to h**, to teach them a lesson about having to choose, by measuring their love for another person, those two movies had absolutely nothing in common.
