  • janschro such a great hit in its day and still great today thanks

  • RUUHOOOOO!!!!!!

  • On this special day of 14th Feb.. I dedicate this song to a beautiful girl who's name sounds like Judy.. All I want to assure her is that I will love her for ever (even if things don't work out practically or logically between us... I tried my best.. so I am immensely happy )... Half of what I am today is because of her.. the amount of love, peace and happiness within me is just because of her.... I THANK HER.... LOVE HER :)))

  • This song brings back fond memories to me, My girlfriend who stays a few houses away, will play this song, to send a signal to me that she is thinking about me and to come to the main door to look at her. Miss you so much and you are still 16.

  • Probably my favourite JT song, one of the happiest songs ever recorded! janschro, you have done a super job here, really wonderful images that capture the heart of this song. Judy Garland once said," I would rather exchange the applause of thousands for words of love from one man." Judy would have loved this!

  • JANSCHRO thanks for this oldie and clip!

  • What a GREAT song!!!

  • Judy, Judy is one of my favourite song. It makes me recall dancing class in the 1970's, this is the perfect song for jitabug dance. I missed my dancing partner, too. She danced such so nice! - Omega2046

  • love from pakistan

  • Seeing The Wizard of Oz for the first time as an 11 year old girl, made me love Dorothy. Back then, I didn't know who Dorothy was, I just knew her as the girl from Kansas who dropped in Oz.

It wasn't until I was a teenager when I learnt that Judy Garland played the part of Dorothy. Now in my early 20's I still remember Judy Garland as Dorothy.

Judy Garland is truly the most beautiful actress-singer with a very special talent, she is an inspiration to all.

  • This song can make me happy....and my feeling is better.

  • Very well presented janschro,.Credit to Johnny and Judy.

  • Always reminds me of my childhood sweetheart, Judy Kam. She should be 63 by now.... but hearing JT singing now, she should seem 16 uh? Well done JT for making me relive that period of time.

  • Judy Garland was an appropriate choice...a favorite at the time.

  • I love this song although it was never a hit here in the UK It featured in in a British black& white Pop music film called "Just For Fun" released in about 1963. It also featured other acts from the USA, The Crickets, Gene Mc Daniels & Gene Vincent. Your graphics/images are wonderful Janschro, Judy Garland would have loved this.

  • To My Judy, Judy, Judy - thnak you for this one - Dj

  • Deana345. The old songs are the best,at least you can understand them.

  • i had such a crush on judy garland when i was 12.i loved her sooooo much.this ssong is just good.ilike the stereo with the strings woven in

  • Petula Clark recorded this song in French in 1964 on the "O Sheriff" LP, it's entitled "Oublie, oublie, tout". Her version is very good too.

  • I told my grandson, listen to this he say this for me, he said wow, mema you were popular. i laughed. judy from Norman Okla.

  • i saw him thirty two years ago, cancer drive. Norman Okla.

  • love johnny tillitsons singing and judy garland

  • I just clicked on this song to hear what the it sounded like, and whether I would remember it from 1963 or not. I do remember it, and would have turned it off, if it was not for your spectacular video. I was entranced, the song became secondary, and you hooked me into staying around for all 2:35 of it. Well done, Janschro. A superb job.

  • Back in ole days say around 3 decades or so, it was so nice growing up listening to this song.

  • 懐かしいですねえ。今から40年以上前の歌です・・・from Japan with love

  • This is one of the best songs on youtube. I can't believe they never put it out as a single, it was the flipside of another record so it didn't even chart on the hot 100.

  • The photos the audio make me want to say Judy,Judy,Judy,Beautiful video! Take care ADonovan43

  • he's great !!! TNX !!!

  • this song really needs good audio and you've nailed it

  • Sailing not as a sailor that I was and on my way on leave but as a passenger on a liner, I heard this song for the first time and was hooked. I cried then and I am crying now

  • Thanks to U-tube I've at long last found out (at 58!) why some people say this to me!!

    Judy

  • @judystrawson Hi, judy. My name is also judy & I just turned 58. What a coincendence, huh?

  • Very nice girls and very impressive song

  • Oldies such as this song are simply timeless and excellent. Fond memories are flooding back. Many many thanks for posting this song.

  • When I first heard this song, I was in Lower Secondary School, Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. My age was around 14. JT's golden voice was and is as good as Cliff Richard. If you don't know this song, that means you are a stranger to JT

  • Hey this is another version of him..! but great!!!!

  • Great video and audio.

  • Nice song for my daughters :-)

  • @biomedicupm Are they both named, 'Judy'??

  • I love this song and the images are great - thanks for posting this..

  • When I first heard the song, I was in the fifth grade. Now I am near retirement age. A lot of things have transpired since then.

  • Perfect! :) I remember :)

  • Thank you for bringing this to YouTube.

My first love in the early 60's was a very beautiful 13 year old girl by the name of Judy. I think I wore that 45 out playing it so many times.:^)

    The memories live on...

  • My Father, was a steel guitar player on the "Toby Dowdey Show" on TV station WJXT, Jacksonville, Florida, in the late '50's.

Johnny visited for dinner at our home in Gainesville. Me and my three Sisters, and a few neighborhood kids, would sit on the grass in the vacant lot next to our house,

and listen to Johnny sing and play his guitar.

Sure does bring back crystal clear memories of childhood ! Mick

  • thank you is not even enough. but what can i say. i am really appreciate your posting. i have a 45 too. my parents name me after this song title and now i gave it to my daughter too.

  • great song

  • Song forever

    Bangkok

  • Excellent job on this vid, janschro! This song is a neat lil' tune and sung nicely by Tillotson. The backing music is great! I have always loved when violins (and other strings) are added to pop songs. They add so much texture and depth and make a song come alive, especially when the strings are swirling and soaring like they do here. Judy Judy Judy is big big BIG in my book! At the campus malt shop, it's selection number J19 on the jukebox. -- -Wally

  • @WallyPlumstead well said.i couldn't agree more.it's why 1960 is so important to music.the used strings in so many hits that year.the drifters, donnie brooks, johnny burnette and many more used the strings with beauty and soul gripping effect.this tune is such a great example of stereo and quality mixing.i love this tune.

  • one of the catching songs

  • its that a realy judy?

    hehehehe thats cute

  • nice

  • This video was really good

and the song was just lovely!

  • Nicely done, janschro. Your videos are visually engaging and incredibly well synchronized with the music.

  • you two need to get a room and open up a stand up routine--i got a kick out of the dialough

  • I love this song and the video slides are marvelously great. Well done and kudos to you!

I don't play violin or fiddle biut I got hold of one once and discovered that by just using one string, either the top or bottom, I could fake a tune by slithering the bow across the string and sliding my fingers on the string neck. I think others disagreed because soon enough the strings disappeared and when I put new ones on, the instrument disappeared forever lost :-(

    Thanks again!

  • Your very Welcome ,Spacebeagle

  • Thanks guys you made me laugh so much, at first I was really taken in, but I love your sense of humour all I can say is keep it up but I for sure will not be fooled again unless it`s a different subject, like animals which I love much more than you guys and most of the human race, so try me on that one but since I have caught on to your tricks, by the way what can of music do you like except hidden Violins? LOL Judy

  • pardon me what does old girl `LOL!! mean! Anyway I did have a good laugh at the end, I was taking things too seriously and did you notice we both ended up with a minus, on our scales, I have to laugh, enjoyed your company, Judy

  • Hi Judy, suspect and I are irrepressible jokesters. Thanks for going along with us!! You seem lovely indeed.

  • This is true, and it is a rare thing indeed to be seen here carrying a violin case--only a fool would risk it! Incidentally, I have recently done some undercover work here and have discovered the local chapter of illicit violin players in our city, The Furtive Fiddlers. I am gradually building up the courage to join the brazen group of dangerous scofflaws, if only as a spectator.

  • Sadly, Dr. Charles Follen McKim Maloney's ocular devise never got past the prototype stage prior to his disappearance. Violin aficionados the world over lament this greatly. "Fiddling", it does appear can make one blind, "diddling" is much better on the eyes!!

  • Yes Judy is sweet. Sorry to hear about your violin accident. Violins are now banned in the United States because of possible injury to violin instructors. Violins are surpassing cigarettes as one of the leading preventable causes of death. It is too bad because I love how they sound.

  • I can`t believe this, that Violins are banned in the USA, at this moment in time I am listerning to the T.V. an Irish Lady playing she`s called `Sue Aston` music `Escape to Freedom`, people are really going mad in this world, I hope we in England don`t follow suite with this idea it would be the greatest shame for classical music, Judy (Jude)

  • I think that you are only joking with me and the Tommy Gun because I am English, maybe I`m foolish and believe when people say something I trust them, I don`t believe this story of yours because people cannot be that stupid? regards Judy

  • good song ,nice video
