Amazing girl playing trumpet

I have been playing trumpet for 10 years and i'm the regional honor band for the northwest. It is hard to see how her tone dident worsen over the course of the song. She is not breathing correctly and he embouchure was way off, no good trumpet player play off the side of their mouth. It is hard to insult her but she need a teacher who can show her how to get to the next level.

To all of you people out there saying that she isn't playing or that she's lip syncing Frankly, you're wrong!

There is a very wonderful trumpet player in my band who plays on the side of her mouth. And she plays very well.

So, for 1: playing on the side of your mouth doesn't affect your sound dramastically.

And 2: The position of your arms don't quite matter either.

And if it did, Melissa wouldn't be famous for playing the trumpet like she does today.

This video is absolutely amazing, She is very talented, and I would want a lesson any day from her. I have been playing trumpet for 4 years (I'm a freshman in high school) She is better than I'll ever be I am sure. I have heard amazing players but this young lady tops them all.

@MrEtNkT It is not called taps. It is 'Il Silenzio' by Melissa Venema. She preformed this in a show with Andre Rieu back in 2008. If you like this kind of music then follow Andre. He is one of my all time favorites and have many of his DVD's.

@SoixXxioZ She plays with the horn angled down because she has an overbite. I did too when I was her age. After I had braces and my teeth were straightened, I know longer angled my trumpet downward. But it's not important which way her horn is angled. What's important is how she plays. And I think she plays splendidly.

If you want to call is a great trumpet solo I'll agree, but if you try to call is amazing, I think it's boring. One reason to be honest, to call a trumpet solo "amazing" it needs at least 4 octaves.

Remember, one attempt and only one attempt to get it right, and your audience is a national TV station with potentially millions of people listening.
