good job on explaining the basics! i took photography class back in high school with manual SLRs and i forgot everything i learned, ha, but its always good as a refresher. i try to explain to my friends about this but i think you did a much better job at it. going to spread the knowledge. keep up the antics, they kept me rolling,
One suggestion: Number your video's from 1 (the very basics) and progress through the numbers/ videos to the increasingly more 'professional' techniqes and tips so students can 'begin at the beginning' and learn photography in a logical manner from simple to complex.
Love your explanations! The candid, simplistic language (no technical language that went unexplained, like 'depth of field') are fun and easy to understand. Fun to watch! Great job! Looking forward to watching all photography vids by this guy!
Have new camera and do not do well with reading all those books so checking out online. This was a great video, helped me better understand the basics, going to watch the rest of your stuff.. Thank you for taking the time to produce, edit and give us this tutorial.
I'm new to photography and I have this quick question... If I want to take a picture in the low light area with high shutter speed, how much ISO and Aperture should I manage to use?
Because It always come out really dark for some reason.
Bro thank you so dam much u just answered all of my questions u got more in detail with it i saw a video before yours were it was this one guy that talks like a dam robot he helped but u made it a bit easier to get thanks man hey another thing what 35mm cam do you think is good i have a canon ae-1 plan on buying a canon a1
Great video. You make it less intimidating for a newbie. I actually learned a lot more from your video then a lot of the others I've seen on Youtube. Thank you! Keep them coming!!!! :D
been watching a few other guys, to see what theyd be like in comparison and u rob my man, sht all over them..ur soo simple and easy to understand, u also seem well grounded and never kinda jargon things up the stuck up way lmao...god bless u rob, u will now be my mentor and the one who will get me rockin and to be the best in photography :) god bless
Learning a lot from your tutorials and planning on buying your DVD. But i need help picking a good start up SLR camera. I was thinking about the Kodak Z981.
Hey thanks for all the videos they have really helped. I recently upgraded from a regular point and shoot to a pentax k-x dslr. I found out a few months ago that I was going to have a baby and wanted to take some nice pictures at our baby shower. It is going to be located inside of a restaurant. The restaurant isnt extremely dark but it is somewhat. How should I set up my camera with all that good stuff in order to have the best pics of the event? Thanks and keep the videos coming!
This video helped me out alot and it was very simple. Why do teachers feel the need to have you over think or even over teach everything lol. That's so funny to me how he broke it down so easily. Thanks man you're the best!!! He's cute too in a way.
Truly a great teacher. You should consider doing workshops, if you don't already. You're a natural. Educational - easy to understand, inspiring, entertaining (make me laugh), and captivating. I'm on lesson 4 and like a good novel I just can't put it down. Keep it up. And, thank you for keeping me engaged. It's a long and expensive road, but you're re-ignited my passion and spark. Cheers, Liz in Maine
