I don't understand why Volkswagen doesn't produce an R-GT in the United States to combat the losers and the STi/EVO. an AWD Jetta Bi-Turbo would most likely be in the same price range, same style catagory, and in my opinion. the Deutsche have got the market pinned. Even if they ran an R-GT as a Steroid Injected TDI. It would compare to that of EVO/STi. and We as a People can Pinch those STi's and EVO's.

Actually the R-GT makes use of an R32 powertrain swap... So it's got the .:R's 3.2L V6 AWD system. Except with a little added booooooost ;)

I had a 626 ES with a v6, stout lil car, i supercharged it....But it STILL doesn't hold a candle to my GTI.

But i, have never owned a 2 door car in my life, the GTI was my first, if i HAD to get a 4 door...prolly be another 626 ES, i loved the sound of that thing :)

But it would be a hard choice against a jetta GLI....
