  • i would buy a used MAC..still far better than a PC, unless it has ubuntu...

  • she 'll get what she paid for...

  • "I'm just not cool enough to be a Mac person" - this means that she's only buying the windows pc because of it's 17'' screen and for the budget.. If it were up to here I would bet that she'd buy a Mac faster than a Windows, just saying.

  • YOU CAN'T ALWAYS HAVE YOUR APPLE AND EAT IT TOO.

  • Yep, lets face it ...if daddy aint buying it for you .....your getting a PC. Learn to love it, customise it, make it yours; thats what I say.

  • 0:54 Look how happy they are to get $700 in cash! I hope she doesn't give it to them in ones or they will probably quit. Lol.

  • Buy PC only if you want to install Linux

  • @thehaamster lol true that

  • is this supposed to be an ad. LOL

  • *cough cough sony vaio*

  • LOL, only reason apple has so much money: 1. they over charge for hardware on their computers, I mean seriously, they over charge about $200+ on some of their parts. This is where they seriously get you! 2. They have over-shore jobs, they don't make their computers in the US. Which means cheaper labor and more money. Now finally 3. Mostly all their customers think Apple OS is safe from viruses. When in fact a guy hacked into a Mac in 40 seconds. You can't win with Apple, it's a rip off.

  • HP isn't the most reliable, but you can strip their software and put in place ALOT more reliable hard software without their bundled and still have a better computer.

  • congratulation lauren its a pc with means piece of crap looooolllll mac rules Unix All the way

  • She just bought a HP... nr. 1 fastest crashing laptops (hardware, no software, no OS!). She better buyed an Asus, Toshiba, Dell, or something...

  • @murdoch201 dells all crash and most of their eletrical components are used

  • @samhuang1999 You just guess, Google the test. Dell is not that good, but HP sucks the most. Asus is the best, together with Toshiba and Sony.

  • @murdoch201 I did that, and so much for Asus, not selling direct so they profit more, click on the first result when you search for "best computer brands" and look for HP, it's the #1 computer brand in the US! and if youll still not convinced go to the second result and see what this guy has to say- HP preferred over all!!!

  • @samhuang1999 I can only find personal opinions. They tested 334.000 notebooks, and the most broken ones are from HP. I had once a HP too, it didn't even lived 3 years. It keeped freezing all the time, even in Windows BOOT setup. I have now a Fujitsu already 5 years, and he is still working great.

  • I have four HPs right now, 3 computers and a printer, one of the computers is more than 8 yr. old and still running strong, The other is more than 5 yrs old and is still fast, takes 8.9 seconds to boot up and log in. I also have a HP printer that is also more than 8 yrs old. How do you take that?

  • @samhuang1999 Your four HP's against 334.000... By the way, it doesn't mean everything will break after a year. They just scored the highest percent of all other computer companies. That doesn't mean it's 100%.

  • @murdoch201 Do YOU have anything to say about the "good" computers?

  • So you need to be COOL to own a Mac. Only Cool People Own Macs

  • @bbond0071997 Cool and Crazy.

  • @murdoch201 * and stupid

  • Then she wants to buy Microsoft Office, upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate, and she wants a backup solution that works like Time Machine.

  • there is a video around on youtube that proofs she doesn't walk in the apple store at all! i don't now the name but i saw it! and i'm not lying!

  • @Jupilerke13 its a ad what do u exspext

  • @ycbln And why is that, Mr. Fanboy?

  • @Xaeleep Because anything prebuilt sucks and is extremely overpriced for the shitty parts.

  • @MegaBlueZOMBIE lol, the Mac hardware works together for total optimization, regular pc-gears does not *facepalm, and there is nothing stoping you from building your own Mac.

  • @Xaeleep What are you even talking about? The BEST and MOST priced Mac has two GTX 570's GPU's in it. That is the BEST model. I have GTX 590(the fastest GPU in the world right now that is out) and the BEST processors etc. It only cost me 1,600 euro for ALL that including a great case. I am just telling you, that Mac(and prebuilt computers) SUCK and are overpriced. My PC is also better than the most expensive Alienware and literally less than half the price.

  • @MegaBlueZOMBIE the GTX 590 is NOT the fastest gpu in the world, and of course pre-built computers are overpriced (i never said they werent) i just explained one of the reasons for mac being so expensive :S

  • @Xaeleep The GTX 590 IS the fastest GPU in the world, it wins out on the 6990 in more cases than the 6990 wins out on it. Not just pre-built computers are overpriced, ANYTHING prebuilt to do with computers is overpriced ESPECIALLY Mac. I was just explaining that Mac uses inferior products yet charges MUCH more for them. It charges something like 200 dollars for the hardrive which cost only 60 if you buy it yourself from a credible company, that is why Macs sucks compared to PC's.

  • @MegaBlueZOMBIE compare the GTX 590 to the PNY NVIDIA® Tesla™ C2070 GPU and tell me who wins *facepalm

  • @Xaeleep Haha do you realise that GPU is not meant for gaming and is actually TERRIBLE for gaming? It is for CAD and programming. NOT gaming. The GTX 590 is the BEST GPU for gaming. The BEST Mac only uses GTX 570 Sli which is absolutely awful, and that is the BEST Mac and they overcharge for them by 300 dollars for the both. That GPU is 2 generations old. But yeah, when the audience is little spoiled idiot hipsters they are easy to fool and make them spend 1000's for an inferior machine.

  • @MegaBlueZOMBIE lol. i never said it was for gaming :S

  • @Xaeleep Lol nerd win!

  • @blahblahnik152 excuse me?

  • Don't forget that the iMac PSU has 98%+ efficiency (IIRC, could be 95%), which carry a hefty price tag in the PC world as well.

  • 0:32 Look at just her right in the background, it´s the best computer in the world :)

  • @TheJazzluvr macs are shit, they are so damn underpowered!! massive ripoff!! if you are an idiot buy a crapple mac!

  • @camargo2012 Hahaa ... why .. you jealous? Oh .. wait, Mac an run Windows too, I think that's why Microsoft happily put it on their Windows ad ... :p

  • @TheJazzluvr jealous? what? i own a $2000 gaming computer which is about 10 times more powerful than any crapple mac in the market.

  • @camargo2012 With all respect sir. Anyone who bought iMac could actually built or afford $2000 gaming pc. But they didnt choose to. Many even own both. And today, a $2000 iMac is quite powerhouse with only 300 watt PSU. Can u build decent gaming pc with 300 watt?

  • @TheJazzluvr yes and a way better one.

  • @camargo2012 Let's do the number and prove $2000 iMac is overpriced,shall we? 27" 2560x1440 IPS display: $1000 Intel Core i5 2400 3.1GHz: $190 Radeon HD 6970M 1GB (HD 6850): $170 1TB 7200RPM HDD: $60 4GB 1333MHz RAM: $40 Motherboard: $100 Power Supply: ~$60 Bluetooth+Wireless+DVD drive: $50 Peripherals: $100 Casing: $100 Speakers: $20 - $30 Total: $1900. Apple charges $1999!! That's not including the OS, fans, heat-sinks, and other little tidbits which you'd have to buy to build your own rig.
  • @TheJazzluvr with $2000 i can build: AMD x6 @ 3.2 GHz(then overclock it to 4GHz): $160 asus m4a89gtd pro motherboard: $150 OCZ 8GB of RAM 1333MHz $200 coolit echo water cooling system: $80 HAF 932 case: $150 4TB WD HDD: $140 OCZ ModXStream PRO 700 watts PSU: $80 2 EVGA Nvidia GTX 460: $280 blu ray drive: $50 blutooth adapter: $10 WIFI card: $35 windows 7 hope premium: $100 ALL OF THIS FOR = $1500 with taxes included! SEE how overpriced crapple products are? APPLE MACS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • @TheJazzluvr oh and dont forget the speakers, monitor, keyboard and mouse:

    Logitech 2.1 sound speakers: $100

    1920x1200 LCD monitor: $150

    wireless keyboard and mouse: $70

    $1800 for the complete build!!!!

  • @camargo2012 This is typical, you're not include 27" IPS display with 1440p. You hate Apple? Fine. Get Dell U2711 for around $900

Don't say "Duh, not everyone need 27" IPS panel with WQHD" ... well I'd say a true gamer or professional wouldn't go any lower than that.

In the end, you have to spend more to compete with iMac in every aspect, make this "Mac overprice" comparison obsolete. Not to mention you can't get the esthetic of an iMac :p

iMac is properly priced by Apple, can't deny that

  • @camargo2012 Anyone who spend $2000 for computer is not stupid, sir .. not you, not anyone out there who choose iMac over building PC. We think, we calculate things and we choose whichever best for us. If iMac isn't that good, Apple would dump it like PowerPC.

You seems to hate Mac. Yes, for some aspect I'd agree they overprice things, well just don't buy those. But for some Mac, Apple is just so generous. Oh and one more thing, AMD X6 is no competition for Core-i Sandy bridge sir :)

  • @TheJazzluvr lol, anyways, the sandy bridge on the imac runs @ 2.93 GHz while on a pc you can get it to 5GHz OVERCLOCKED!!!!!!!! YOU SIR. GOT SERVED!!! LOL :D

  • @camargo2012 I'll try not to embarass you .. but you are totally wrong. Check Apple's website. A $2000 iMac today use intel i5-2500@3.1 Ghz, Yes they are not overclockable. But even on custom built PC, any AMD today just got assed by i5 2500 Sandy Bridge, not to mention I can upgrade iMac to i7-2600.

Want proof? Google it, comparison between hi-end CPU. You want overclock? well i7 2600K is your opponent :)

  • @camargo2012 In any way you put it, you can't beat iMac for the price. You may get better CPU, but crappy display. You want equal display to iMac (Dell or Apple)? well you get worse CPU compared to iMac. You have to spend more to compete with iMac on every detail.

You can overclock with your custom built CPU? Well you have to spend much more on PSU and cooling, while iMac can live quiet, happy and cool with 300watt PSU (and sexy body too)

  • @TheJazzluvr again, a system far more superior than a mac costs $1800 + have you seen the HAF 932 case? it has isolation technology which means that no sound comes out of the case, + the monitor is 3D capable with Nvidia 3D vision and i will say this again: $1800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheJazzluvr watch?v=0wHWj4Y5AjY <it shows something alot better than a crapple mac!

  • @camargo2012 And I said again, I don't want CPU chassis with insignificant LED which dont improve performance whatsoever :)

And does the monitor IPS? Does it has 1440p, excellent, vibrant color and accuracy? Would it desaturate if I look from a tilted angle? It's far more important for me than just 3d. I'd pick 3d plasma anytime rather than 3d LED TV

I'm cool with custom built PC sir, I built those too, but not anymore. I'm just laughed when someone tell me iMac is crappy and overpriced

  • @camargo2012 To be fair: $2000 standard iMac today has: i5-2600@3.1Ghz, Radeon HD 6970M 1Gb DDR5, 1Tb HDD, 4Gb DDR 1333Mhz, DVD-RW, SDXC card reader, built in Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11n, 27" IPS 1440p display, bluetooth keyboard and Magic Mouse/TrackPad

So IF you were Steve Jobs, and you're being nice .. how much would you price iMac with this kind of spec, huh?

  • @TheJazzluvr all of that is valued $1350 :D

  • @camargo2012 And what monitor do you use with that, exactly?

  • @TheJazzluvr DoubleSight DS-275W Monitor 2560 x 1440

  • @camargo2012 Good, amazing and comparable display with iMac, for around $900 . That should make the CPU worth around $450 if you think that iMac worth $1350

Wow, you must be dumb on math or something. Tell me the details, how can you build a $1350 complete PC, identical spec with iMac I mentioned earlier, and still able to use $900 display? If you can, well .. you win :)

  • @TheJazzluvr core i5= $200, HD6970=$300, 1TB HDD $45, 4GB RAM 1333MHz= $45, DVDRW drive= $40, wifi card 802.11n=$10, bluetooth adapter= $10, card reader=$15, 2560 x 1440 monitor=$750 $1415 thats what the mac is worth

    core i5= $200, 2 nvidia GTX 460 in SLI = $275, 1TB HDD $45, 8GB RAM DDR3 1333 $70, DVD RW drive $40, wifi card 802.11n=$10,bluetooth adapter=$10 2560x1440 monitor= $750(pc costs $1400 but has more RAM and 2 video cards which actually perform way better than HD6970)

  • @camargo2012 You forget to include motherboard (add $150 - $200), OS (add around $100), chassis & PSU (add $100). I don't want to be nitpicking here, but iMac includes all those little things for $2000 (fair comparison, right?). To be exactly completed, your spec could cost $1750 - 1800 or so.

Even with your price assumption, identical iMac only cost $100 or $200 more, with that bit extra, you get a real Mac, which no need to be hacked to get OSX.

So much for being overpriced, huh?

  • @camargo2012 See that? Even with NEARLY IDENTICAL hardware spec, iMac is not expensive nor overpriced for what they have. You can't make it significantly cheaper with PC counterparts, unless you rob it or something. The price is just right :)

Moral of the story: Stop hating Apple in a blind or even childish way, you don't get paid for doing that. I myself don't get paid for loving Apple, I'm just satisfied so much using this computer. And I speak the truth

  • @TheJazzluvr NEARLY IDENTICAL WTF??????? YOU ARE SO FUCKING STUPID! THE SYSTEM I LOISTED THERE HAS MORE THAN TWICE THE POWER THAN THE MAC YOU LISTED! OMFG I HATE CRAPPLE MAC FAGGOTS! THEY TALK WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING SHIIIIIIIIIIT!!!

  • @camargo2012 I asked you to simulate custom built PC with i5-2500@3.1Ghz, Radeon6970, 4Gb DDR, 1Tb HDD, DVDRW, 27" IPS display, and any other items until ready to use, and you ended with around $1800.

And that spec IS the same spec on $2000 iMac

Which one of that part make this system twice as powerful as iMac? Which one dude? I asked you built a PC using the same hardware with iMac !! U couldn't build it for $1350 like you said, could you?

  • @camargo2012 I don't fuckin care about other system. With the same price I can get i7, dual Radeon 6970 crossfired, 16 Gb RAM IF I pick crappy 19" LCD Display. I'm not stupid dude, maybe you are. I asked you to build PC with identical spec to iMac to prove if iMac is truly overpriced !! And you suddenly boasting up and state identical PC is twice as powerful!! You know what identical spec means? huh, smart boy?

  • @camargo2012 First, you FAILED to show me that $2000 iMac is overpriced. You couldn't make it a lot cheaper using same PC parts. You couldn't win so you came up with other spec blah blah blah. I understand

    Second

You are the troll. Troll hate things for no reason, I love Apple, and I have PC too, so I use them both with clear minds. Troll, on the other hand hate something in a childish way. Some troll just envy beautiful Mac. And I feed the troll. Even after I proved to him I was right.

  • @TheJazzluvr you wasnt right ya faggot, cause i showed you a pc for lower the price of a mac and twice the performance! how many times i got to tell you that?

  • @camargo2012 I really don't get what you said. Twice performance? From where? I asked you to build a PC with same spec on $2000 iMac, simple as that. That's a fair comparison, okay?

I didn't ask for alternatives spec. How many times either I gotta to tell you? I asked you to list custom built PC price which has identical spec to $2000 iMac. You did it, and you end up with $1900, and now you still said it has twice performance, while having the same hardware with iMac? You joking or what?

  • @TheJazzluvr so you gonna tell me 8GB of ram is the same as 4GB of ram? fucking retarded.

  • @camargo2012 In a simplest way of speaking, my idea is: IF you wanted to build a custom PC which has same hardware and spec as $2000 iMac ... again, with SAME (not better or worse) spec with iMac in every detail (CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD etc), you would end up spend $1900.

You proved it yourself, did you? And being that said, iMac is not exactly overpriced for what they offer, hence $100 difference with custom build PC.

I hope this SIMPLE idea is crystal clear and easy for your brain to understand !!

  • @TheJazzluvr if i put it in the exact hardware as an imac it would be around $1200!!! FAIL!

  • she bought it because she wanted to install linux! ;)

  • @klramon Dreamer, i know you are a dreamer!

  • @murdoch201 no I am a realist. Windows is the worst os you can find but the worst thing about windows is... That you pay for it! So you pay for an os which is worse than the free one. I think it doesn't make any sense.

  • pause the video and play, then hit 8 AAAAAAH!

  • BUT secretly, she's using that 13 inch Macbook. I can see the resent in her eyes...

  • I am a pc and i suck asss errrr:

    Pleasea reboot

  • @advhere

    Im a mac....

Throw me away, a new one is out, and if you want the latest hardware, you must pay lots for me.

Im a PC, new hardware is out, do you want to upgrade?

  • The computer she wants has specs nowhere near the specs of the 17" MacBook Pro.

  • @drrobertoboogie97 But she could invest a lil' more, still stayin nearby 1k and it would still beat the crap out of that ludicrous piece o' crap.

  • 699,99

    lol 69...

  • Wanna buy a new computer under $1000, there's an app for that.

  • @krishnaallam

Wanna keep your kids away from computer?

    There's a trojan for that.

  • @BeelzebubNT

lol.. thats a good one.. I just posted it for fun. I am a windows fan actually. I hate mac. Luv d iphone though.

  • @khosrow your English. Color colour

  • Comment removed

  • @ArtistThat have fun with that...

  • @ArtistThat

    antivirus could be free.

word processing and excel can both be purchased in the same pack for under 50 dollars.

  • @ Everyone:

    Drivers -- are free.

    AVG/Avast (antivirus) -- is free.

PCs crash LESS than -- Macs.

    Macs are more expensive.

    Buy an Alienware.

  • @ireadulisten why should buy an alienware? its way cheaper to buy the same components and build the pc by yourself.

  • @khosrow because they have shiny lights and look pretty.

i have one and i use it pretty much 24/7. if you intend on using your computer all the time, it should look nice and have light features. :P

and it's a laptop. go build your own laptop rofl

  • @ireadulisten does it even change the colour of the light? Oo

  • @khosrow yes it does. different sectors of teh keyboard can be mapped to be different colors. there are more than a million lighting combinations you can create.

  • The Macs are all about hardware and software integrity. I've both a 27 iMac and my home-built PC. Both run Windows, Both run OS X. I love both.

  • Yes it was 699.99 but did you buy antivirus? all the drivers you'll need? all the protection because they crash so easily. just get a mac you dumb cunt.

  • @evacguy95 FYI You're the dumb fuck if you can't set up a PC, and keep it updated, and would rather suck up to a croporation (and their bullshit), and let them give you everything, and not allow you to modify it how you want (not that you are able to, anyway).

My PC didn't crash once ever since I got it.

Avast is a good free antivirus, and even if you don't have it you have to have a certificate for being dumb, to get a virus (hint: not clicking everything that pops up helps a lot).

  • @evacguy95 Yeah yeah.. You sound like anti-virus programs cost like $1400. Get a brain, dumb fuck.

  • Macs...aka Scam. Read it backwards.

I own a Mac and I like it but it could never replace my PCs. I consider Mac a para-PC.

  • oh look a laptop, 1 problem though... it's got windows 7 =[

  • yeah but pc are just

    u no

    sh**

  • @harvixa no you are just a

retard dont * out the letters WINDOWS: LIFE WITH OUT WALLS

  • I would be excited if I got a free laptop too

  • I want a free laptop too

  • This ad was awesome. It pissed off a lot of mac users.

  • more than 1000$ dollar for a chity laptop ?

    this is mac .

  • Redheads wearing glasses... NICE. I want her phone number :)

  • You're a PC and you got just what you wanted? What about what you didn't want? (hint: herpes virus that destroys your windows) I have a better OS for FREE!!! Linuxxxxx

  • @AbstractCoder you mean all of those viruses i havn't picked up within the last 5 years (without ANY virus protection or firewalls) because i'm not a moron when i surf the web on my PC?

    yeah, they suck don't they?

  • i know what you mean about that. I built 3 windows computers for a local school and this one virus thing ruined all 3 so frustrating but im sure youve been there with windows but it is much better if you load it on by your self. @Treifla

  • 0:32 'This is like a phone'

Yeah if that phone was from microsoft it probably would be that ugly and big xD

  • 0:13 :O Wow she looked around that Apple store fast !

That guy in blue jeans and brown cardigan just managed to walk past the store !

    FAKE MUCHH !!!

  • just wait a few months until that thing becomes a memory hog or slows to a craw. they all do, even if you run ssd with trim and windows 7 ult 64 bit. -my system.

  • @OtherVincentLee i have had a system run for over a year without it slowing down. it's called proper maitenence, 10 min of my time every week and it runs like new.

  • @Treifla don't tell me that sh*t when I run hard drives that cost more than computers. I keep my spyware clean, edit start up processes, msconfig, disk cleanup, no defrag. I know what I am doing. 2x32gb SSD with TRIM-in theory does not slow down.

  • @OtherVincentLee hah! when did you get those drives? 3 years ago? i'm looking at solid state drives that are 350 a peice, 120GB.

are you cleaning / fixing registry errors on a weekly basis? disk cleanup and even defrag (for those of us who have a brain to wait for the price of SSD to drop) alone isn't enough to keep your computer running at optimum.

  • @Treifla I don't clean registry, really don't need to do that unless you have a very serious problems. It can also mess up programs. I used to do reg all the time, and found out some of my programs started giving me errors.

  • She'll need a refurb in 6 months. Bloody Compaqs.

  • @4575 She's a chick. What do they know about memory or CPU. "ohhh I like the color and the shape is pretty!"

  • @blacbraun True, true.

  • @blacbraun i like her colour and shape, so i don't see a problem here

  • stupid fucking yank advert . SPECIFICATIONS NOT QUALIFICATIONS.

  • @hereosinerror no... qualifications work correctly in this context as her qualifications are BASED on the computers specifications.

as well, i'm canandian, so this comment thoroughly confuses me.

  • Windows computers are so cheap, because Microsoft actually don't like... make the computer it self, just the software. Apple makes like... EVERYTHING. The computer, the OS, the keyboard ect.

  • @ChocolateChad127 uh... no; macintoshes these days are the exact same as PCs hardware wise; the extra cost was justified when they used power PC processors, but they been using intel parts for a couple of years now; they should be able to sell their laptops and desktops at a similar price to Dell or HP ones; they are just charging you a premium cos they are APPLE.

And PC compatible also have to pay for the OS, and are STILL cheaper than macs.

  • @TheLordSethonan Shhhh. Listen to your sandwich.

  • @TheLordSethonan Integration has a price...

  • she just isn't gay enough for a mac.

  • No I hate the windows OS

  • Pcs suck and it is the opposite she isn't cool enough for a mac

  • @orange9035

    So mac sucks?

    Mac is a PC.

And at least we can do everything you guys do, but better, faster, and for a lower price.

And yes that includes running your shitty ass osx.

  • @orange9035 She isn´t gay enough for a Mac!

  • hey she said shes not a cool enough to be a mac person.... lol im both mac and pc. both rock!!

  • Ok guys, look at 0:14...notice the bald guy in black to the right. Now pause it at 0:15..the same guy appears again...

  • @boeing74700

Maybe she walked out so fast because the prices were so high, she instantly knew...

    HELL NAW!

  • I like Windows because it has all the software and games I need. Mac has 1/4 of the software I use on Windows plus every time Mac OS updates it renders several programs unusable.

Don't buy a Mac, go for a PC with either Windows 7 or Linux.

  • Apple is constantly attacking Microsoft with the "Get a mac" ads.

  • Don't you love how HP is a key sponsor of Microsoft Events. Funny that she chose an HP, isn't it?

P.S. I'm not a troll, and Yes, I'm a PC. Just thought it was a funny thing to point out.

  • okay just mega fucked up my mac, and you wanna know what i did... when into the equivilent of task manager on the mac, killed the 'Finder' process, which is 'explorer' equivilent in windows, and it refused to restart, unlike on windows where it automatically restarts. wanna know why i had to kill finder... BECAUSE IT CRASHED. thats right mac isnt this magic super crash free system people make it out to be... and actually ive never had 1 virus on my PC in the 15 years ive owned one.. sorry mac :/

  • @Woollsta explorer doesn't always restart ya know

  • @liljoedaprince1414 maybe in earlier releases of windows but microsofts latest OS's, even Vista, all stay within the bounds of being simple to keep alive if a process dies, which is bound to happen on any os, it does it on mac, linux, windows its the nature of coding applications. But what i didnt expect to see was on Apple's latest release of snow leopard, was the lack of recoverability ofthe system when a process is killed by a user, like i did. mac's an ace system but could still be improved.

  • @Woollsta i tried to restart explorer 2 weeks ago. failed. thts why i commented

  • CUT THE SWEARING.

  • Windows. Life WITH Walls.

  • @helpermacdotcom thats why you can upgrade pc's and not macs....right

  • MACS RULE. They are better. Viruses are formatted for WINDOWS. As Apple CEO Steve Jobs once said: "Microsoft has no taste". He is so right, and Windows 7 has proved that to us.

  • @helpermacdotcom Windows 7 is awesome, it's definitely better than earlier Windows or Mac versions, I don't get what you complain about.

  • I perfer Macs.

But if I have to get a PC, Linux will be installed straight away!

    Windows sucks.

I mean, Windows is so different, so hard to use, so compatible with every kind of virus, and very hackable.

  • All the bullshit you just listed is false.... extremely easy to use, if you know how to use it , you'll never get a virus like me... over 3 years hp laptop.... no viruses... and I had the " privilege" of using a macbook pro for like 3 weeks and wasn't really interested... it's not windows let's just say...pay 1200 for a laptop for no reason... if you're like a graphics designer ok... but for like typing up essays... just plain stupid

  • @TubbyWilliams That's your opinion.

Windows has many options hidden, and the multi tasking in Windows is not good enough.

In Linux, everything is visible, and it also has less useless features, so it makes easier to navigate.

And Linux is free, not 1200.

  • i was talking about mac which is what the ad is attacking

  • @TubbyWilliams As a PC user, you'll not accept the price of a Mac.

Unlike other users around YouTube, I'm more looking for quality.

On Windows, you pay at least 129 euros for a Windows licence, Windows Movie Maker is crap, so you'll likely buy Sony Vegas for 600 euros, and then of 1000 euros for Photoshop CS4.

Linux is free, The GIMP is free (and native in Gnome) and has no decent Video Editor.

Mac OS X is 29 euros, iLife is 79 euros and Photoshop CS4 is still 1000 euros.

    Continued.

  • @TubbyWilliams Continued.

    Conclussion:

Linux: Free, no good Video Editor.

    Windows: 129+600+1000 = 1729 euros.

    Mac: 29+79+1000 = 1108 euros.

    So what's expensive?

Hardware is true, software is false.

  • firstly.. only an idiot would pay 1000 for cs4... i have that and i downloaded it for free.... so take that 1000 dollars from the list, I don't make movies or important video so i dont need movie maker or sony vegas -600 and lastly you get windows for free when you buy a windows laptop... 699.99 for an hp laptop and not only is it extremely fast but it serves all my needs and more.. i dont need anything in ilife.... if i actually had it on my laptop it would be useless for me and for many others

  • Wrong.

Neither Windows or Mac come with the OS for free.

Windows and Mac OS X are both OS's you have to pay for.

A manifuerer wouldn't sell without OS so soon.

Go to the local PC Store, ask for a custom build PC.

They will understand with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Tell them that you don't want Windows installed, and your PC will be 129 euros cheaper.

At least, here in The Netherlands.

    I dunno about USA.

  • well ok then... 699.99 that's what I paid for my hp laptop take 129.99 you get 570..... REALLY cheap still.... I love the aesthetic appeal of the macbook pro don't get me wrong ... it's so slim and chic but the program itself is not mind--blowing

  • Again, my point is that only the hardware of Mac is more expensive.

But Mac OS X itself is 5 times cheaper.

But if you really like a Macbook Pro, and you like Windows, you can just install Windows on a Macbook Pro, didn't you know that? ;-)

Or you can go for Linux, if you want an OS, which is totally free, and has many different GUI's, which you can modify it to your hearts contest.

Note that I'm not doing any flame wars (I hate doing flame wars).

  • I was aware of that... windows parallel... but it's too much money for a macbook pro for me just to enjoy the size of it

  • @TubbyWilliams No, you can just install Windows and Linux natively on a Macbook Pro, and even delete Mac OS X.

Macs are basically PC's, with the possibility to run Mac OS X.

  • @UltimatePisman and twice the price......

  • @Treifla So, here's a stingy one.

  • @UltimatePisman sorry, i don't agree. There is not only sony vegas for Windows. There are a lot of programs under 79 for Windows which are good working. Or you just can download a illegal version of sony vegas pro, and it is free. I don't think you really can download much with Mac ;)

  • @murdoch201 No, it's not free, it's illegal.

And yes, I can download illegal software for Mac through UseNeXT, although I don't do it.

  • So true

  • ha ha look wat she saz at 0:23
