I'm not sure if she's tense; but it is certainly an edgy performance. Tori is so great because: 1. she is a serious artist, unlike (list too long to mention . . .); 2. you actually care what the lyrics say (most rock lyrics are complete throwaways & notebook doggrel); 3. her live performances are always deeply emotional journeys. A lot of critics (Rolling Stone) don't get her, but her fans understand.
I think the recent makeup trend is a response to her new competitors in the female musician scene - many of whom are a lot younger. She'll always be gorgeous IMO, no matter what she wears.
yeah, I hate how women are positioned to "compete" against each other like that. The irony is, I think wearing a lot of of make-up actually makes a person look older...she's lost lots of weight recently, which, to me, makes her look kind of drawn/sinewy now...I wish she could stop trying to compete appearance-wise, if that's what it does... I never liked her for her looks anyway--I liked her music.
Um at 1:21 ish the guy in the background is yawning! It almost looks like her dad, but I don't think it is.

Yes, you are right.
The song is delicate, sweet and when I listen to it I sit down, close my eyes and relax. The piano is great.
And Tori she is a beautiful lady. Sweetly sexy.
