The Brits stole Rock n Roll, The Blues and many other musical genres from my country without ever giving the US proper credit for it. The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin etc. wouldn't exist without the hard work and determination of Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly etc. It's unfortunate that the Brits seem content with thinking American music is vapid when in reality it's far superior!

American beer may be bad, but we rule when it comes to music. The US invented Rock n Roll, the Blues, Soul etc (all of which the Brits gladly copied/stole). And can't really agree with the comment about British accents being better than American ones. Most Brits leave me feeling as if I've had glass shards ground into my eardrums. Now FRENCH accents are a completely different story. Pure heaven. :-)
