I love Daniel as a character so much It would sadden me to see him live his life by the side of such emotionally distressed character like Betty. But Gio... -quoting Amanda&Marc- smells like salami and...he's perfect for her.

I know. I know... I used to like Daniel the first 1-2 episodes of season 1. But Betty always behaves like a Baby sitter with him. And I'm latina, you know? Needy boys are kicked in their arses out here. So I pretty much like men who protect women not who need to be protected all the time. Still Daniel is my favorite character (after wilhelmina) because he's gorgeous and clumsy, sometimes fragile and doesn't mind to show his feminine side.

i agree with what you are saying, however there are the moments when Daniel-gorgeous man that he is-takes initiative and is mature enough to man up and do what needs be done. yes she does babysit him at times but throughout the show you also see her needing him as well at times. and he is the one person who seems to always be there when she needs him.

I agree with you. Actually I used to like the original pair when I was younger. Armando and Betty in Betty la Fea. The colombian Betty was much distressed but more determined than America. But I think your wish will come true anyway. Silvio Horta is running out of ideas. i think they will make Betty and Daniel end up together.

What I like about this character Gio is that he could be rough and blunt at times but inside he's naturally himself and totally sweet. Once he's have Betty Suarez in his heart he would do anything for her.

I wonder why the writers of this show are trying to teach us that a woman should refuse men like Gio and instead embrace losers or troubled guys who only put Betty down. It's beyond me. It doesn't teach good things to us, women.

It was one of my favs too... of course now it's hard for me to put in top (after TKAA, Odor, BWP). But I can't believe writers can come up with wonderful getty episodes like this and still dismiss Gio in season 3 (bastards!). Anyway... Betty must be blind. She got one of the best birthdays with the "right" man.
