As an example: on the abortion issue, Ron Paul's position required me to scrutinize my own more closely, instead of taking it for granted.
I came to the realization that my viewpoint had some glaring flaws in it, which forced me to re-assess my position. I now find myself crossing the line to a moderate pro-life stance: I still consider exemptions to women whose life is threatened or a victim of rape.

He was also correct in predicting the meltdown, but also about why and how it happened, and not only about the housing bubble, but the subprime mortgage, and credit crises! It's due to his study of Austrian economics as opposed to Keynesian which is taught in most of our schools.

Within one week of the Aug. 12 Iowa debate, Iran opened her doors to inspection by the IAEA.

Even Maddow is throwing in mass amounts of Anti-Ron Paul subtext all throughout this program. He's NOT an isolationist! Why is not exporting war being isolationists? We should be focusing on TRADE and our ECONOMY not WAR. Once he becomes the US president,
he should get rid of all the limitations & controls US govt has on South Korean defense & pull out all 28,500 US troops in SKorea.
Through US govt, military-industrial complex (General Electric is part of it) limits & controls SKorean defense because it wants to sell its weapons.
SKorea is 3rd largest weapons buyer in the world.
SKorea cannot research defense tech freely or buy weapons from other nations w/o US govt control.
