I thought we were discussing Illinois "owning" Iowa. If we are talking about B10 championships, Illinois last won in 2001, Iowa won in 2002 and 2004. The Rose Bowl is not the best B10 bowl since the BCS era began in '98, the B10 champs can play in the MNC game for what ever bowl is hosting that given year.

McShays comment came from a place of pure ignorance. In 2005 Iowa had its best recruiting class in this decade by average ranking Iowas was #6 in the nation. They had the #1 OL group in the nation and in that game they were seniors. The DL consisted of the #1 recruit out of MO(Clayborn) the #2 recruit out of KS(Ballard)the #3 recruit out of MN(Binns)and severely underrecruited/underrated player in Karl Klug. They will all play in the NFL. McShay needs to do his HOMEWORK next time. Oops!!

I've been to every Big Ten stadium `cept for the newest in Minnihaha and I want to say Penn State fans were the BEST, most courteous fans in the Big Ten even in defeat.
