Extremely beautiful song. Charlie has really shown what he is capable of after forming fightstar with Alex. They have become one my favourite bands and one of the best alt rock bands in england. I don't really mind about charlie's past. Yes, busted were pop trash, but think about it in the grand scheme of things. If he hadn't joined busted, he may never of met Alex. Fightstar also wouldn't of got so much publicity when they formed.

This song is so beatiful. I would recommend this version over the newer one to everyone, the ending of the more recent one is way too mixed down, it doesn't have the same impact as this one does. A true masterpiece.

The only thing that I like on the other version more is the part on 3:43 the 'it's something I can't change' sounds a bit better on the Grand Unification-version.

But all in all it's a great song, although I can figure out the difference, it would be cool if there were a comparison of both songs, where you can clearly hear all differences..

Well I listened closer to both versions and now I can figure out which is the original and which the re-made.

I really love this song since I watched the live performance on tiscali here on youtube nearly 1 and a half years ago bu didn't really notice the difference of both versions.

this song is epic in my opinion at first when I got the album in 2006 I skipped this song often cos I thought it's a boring one, but you have to let the song 'come into you' and then you notice the emotions

ive read a lot of stupid comments on youtube but thats up there with the stupidest. sure mono were an influence to fightstar when they wrote this song but its a beautiful song that THEY wrote and only one bit has a vague similarity to halcyon. so its hardly a 'very embarrassing rip-off' as u put it. if u want a very embarrassing rip off search 'dont save us from the flames' by m83 and see how much KOL ripped it off for their song 'use somebody'. and everyone still seems to think KOL are gods!
