  • I saw this type of rotation under a small sized cumulus in Jacksonville right at the base of the Matthews Bridge the next day after a big storm system, when I spotted it, it was rotating vigorously, by the time I got out it had closed, but I still filmed some obvious rotation. The strange thing was it was a partly cloudy day, the sun was shining everywhere.

  • Very nice! Lucky find there! It was spinning in a clockwise dirction, which is rare in the northerb hemisphere. GREAT FILM!!! :D

  • i see clouds like this alot

  • Not too big a deal... Was there even a Tornado Watch issued?

  • Hi there, thanks for the comment...no tornado watch was issued, but before I grabbed my video camera the area of rotation was more clearly defined and looked like a giant rotating dinner plate in the sky. I thought this may possibly form a tornado, but by the time I grabbed my video camera the rotation had weakened a bit to what you see here.

  • @ewtng tornadoes happen without warnings and watches
