What a bunch of haters... I like the personality... nothing unsafe here. His seat position is great for a triathlete. Some people need to get off their high horse.
On a bicycle to nowhere... and to an aweful song, too...
I'll choice a real bike everyday for my commute, over real hills and to the sounds of nature... and me singing to the last song stuck in my head... Time to hit the MP3s...
Lay off him.. He has not done any thing thats considered unsafe. He is having a good time and his stage presentation is great and im sure he would bring in a crowd that would enjoy him. If you love cycling on the road so much stay out of the class rooms or take an instructor that teaches the way you want. Dont down someone else for being creative. You freakin haters.. Keep up the good work man..... Good for you for coming out of the box... I love it.. I have been teaching for years...
The Best Spin instructors are the who dont feel the need to teach spin 101 all the time and become invovative and envision the spin bike as an actual execise machine instead.
I personally have elimated spining 101 from the equasion and re invented how to get a total body workout using the spin bike as a exercise machine . 70% of my class is off the seat . Works for me and my classes have been full for the last 5 years.
If any instructor can pack em in consistently.....Rock on !
Can't Instructors keep the indoor riding simple? WHAT YOU DON'T DO OUTSIDE, DON'T DO IT INSIDE!!! Riding with hands off the bike? Uphill? You must be kidding. Nothing wrong with the handlebars, handlebars can be high depending on individuals ie back problems, pregnant women, heights....
Terrible is right... I saw his other video and didn't even notice. OMG.. I just assumed being setup properly was a given. OMG did he just stop. Wait... he is really bad. I bet his classes are fun though... OMG did he just makeup new hand positions. Wow
All - this is TERRIBLE - he does a disservice to those of us who teach proper form, bike fit and cadence. He is too far forward in the saddle - his knees are hyperflexed and well over his toe. Even out of the saddle he should slide his hips back so that he is not going to get an injury to his knee. A very bad sign is that his knees are UNDER the handle bar. Bad....
He has a great personality and would be a great instructor with the proper training. I hope he gets this feedback. Man.....

Great music and an inspired instructor..... great combination. The music in my classes gets them begging for more, its nice to find a like minded instructor. Keep up the good work
Gay is good for those who are. My son read this and is hurt and me on the other hand, the fact that you made this comment is hurtful to those who let it hurt them..I have a wife and a son and love making a difference in peoples lives...please be nice.

Finally a teacher with a sense of rhythm!! This is very similar to how I teach cycling. Nice to see there are more of me!! Love your music and your charisma!! Come to Cape Cod!! There are only one of me and not enough bikes!! When you teach like this it packs the classes. Good form and so much fun.. my have we come a long way from Johnny G spinning!! Oh yes! I did say it!!
His music is great and he can sing a little. I like it...
