@Mah81 , dude, this movie is about as realistic as Star Wars. I'm not saying that it's a bad film, just not a very good representation of what stock car racing is really like. And just for the record NASCAR had already been using restrictor plates for a couple years before this movie was made. You're right about one thing though, the COT was the worst idea ever, along with allowing Toyota to race in the series.

@XXformula can you name a movie that was more accurate? You cant see some Dale Ernhardt or Kyle Busch in Rowdy? You cant see some Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson in Cole Hammil Tom Cruise. It is the best Nascar moving going nearly 2 decades after it was made. I was just trying to say how it represented the racing accurately. In the movie it was exciting, and 10 to 15 years ago before the COT the racing was exciting. TV ratings and fan attendace prove at Nascar races prove my point.

didn't have Company logo's on graphics, now, you have like
