I guess they don't make camcorders like mine any more. It's old sure, but I've dropped it onto concrete, smacked it against a wall, put it inside a bag which was slammed down numerous times, and it's still OK.
Actually one of my camcorders was destroyed in a horrible "foot + camcorder" accident, but I had four camcorders which were slightly different models. So my Dad took the best of two destroyed camcorders to make my current one.
This was actually the most well done V-Blog I've ever seen. It was entertaining. Anyway, sorry about your camera. I hope you can fix it and/or get a new one soon =/
You should try fixing it the American way! Hitting and jabbing a screw driver into random places!
Thanks. It's a kinda boring subject to watch in a video (As are most video blogs, really), and since it was filmed with my iSight camera (Which is static), I couldn't have any shot variations, So I just cropped and clipped random, yet chronological, sections to keep the audience more interested... tbc
When I bought my camera last year, I got an extended insurance thing and I thought it ran out in July, but apparently it hasn't. So I should be sending the camera to Samsung soon and getting it fixed or replace, which will be cool. To be honest, 16 months is a pretty good length of time without an accident for a portable device. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, but it's not the end of the world. I just don't like a broken camera :( lol
a question does Samsung VP-D362 have an usb connection?
horror42 2 years ago
Yep - has USB, firewire and composite video (what you have on the back of a TV).
If you're interested in getting one, it's a good camera and is quite feature rich. It has support for anamorphic 16:9 as well.

Get a new one... and the only way to get the vids out is to rip off the cover...

move your mac over to your desk and lower it a lot and than once you get iStopmotion, you can capture with iSight...
I tried that once when I couldn't find my camera charger
