  • i have it on my swisscamp great for opening a closed turned off disk drive

  • Mine is a Spartan and it DOES have this..

But its on the wine opener slot, so it could fall off =/

  • TINKER mod#53101 does not have it .....although it could be drilled in if needed.

  • I have a leatherman. So much happier with that.

  • my grandad showed me that, i was so happy :P

  • it is also in the victorinox huntsman model, it is behind the corkscrew in the same place

  • also on the super tinker and the craftsman

  • its on the craftsman too :3

  • works on the Swiss Champ too! its under the cork screw. how awesome!

  • I don't know if this has already been said, but I just got my Ranger today and it Does have a pin hole in it. Right where the corkscrew pops out

  • Thanks , i knew i had a pin but could not find it!

  • Huntsman does have it, and outrider doesn't...that's all I can say

  • I have the Officer Suisse and it is exactly in the same spot as yours. Behind the screwdriver.

  • Very cool. Great for digging out splinters to grab with the tweezers.

  • Mine doesn't have one of those slots I'm kinda jelous now :-(

  • @Mr123seabiscuit which one do you have?

  • it's on all swis army knives i believe

  • Just got a Explorer and it has this feature available under the Corkscrew

  • Does the New Adventurer Have one??? If so please Reply.

  • the swiss champion actully comes with a pin, not just a slot for the pin

  • Two of my knives come with the pins, and it also says in the instruction manual, so I knew about the placement of the pinhole. But I never noticed until now that the other models I have also have the pinhole, but with no pin. I guess it's cheaper to just press up the same red cover over and over again instead of having different molds for the one with pin and the ones without. But then again. A pin shouldn't cost that much, so why not just include it?

  • i have one on my huntsman no pin so i went over to the craft room and grabed one out of the pin quision

  • the Spartan has a hole but no pin but i added one from my spare swiss card

  • my model (yeoman i think) had this but with an included pin

  • Oh wow, I never knew that :D

  • My fieldmaster has it! i never knew about this either, pretty cool!

  • Mine does too and i have never noticed that

  • mine had a hole there and i never really knew what it was for, now i do!

  • technically we are not getting what we paid for...i had to go and grab a straight pin from my mums sewing kit. lol, i dont have a swiss card

  • cant find it in the spartan it isnt under the cork screw :'(

  • @ItsNadazz dude i have a spartan its right next to the corkscrew

  • @Kinetic0900 it isnt there :'( !!!

  • on the Swiss champ it's under the corkscrew and they already hav a pin for u

  • on all the swiss knifes i have its there, but not on the new soldier knife. But the ones with the cork screw knifes... theres no way of keeping it from coming out on you. it can slide right out all the way threw the cork screw if you look down in at it, so be careful. the ones with the phillips head its all good.

  • It's on the Ranger!

  • secret ?

  • its on the climber too :D

  • Hey its even there on my Victorinox Explorer! just noticed it right now, thanks :D

  • I have one on my new blue Swisschamp :]

  • i saaw it on the sparton

  • Can't find it on my Forester

  • Super tinker has it to cool

  • i got 1 on mine wierd i neva knew it was there lol

  • @whatawookie5000 I talk to the cops about my knives all the time and my GUNS, that right I carry a gun with ,e everywhere I go as well as knives, never killed anyone yet dumbass, why anyone would click on a video about a knife who doesnt like knives is beyond me, do you watch gay porn as well cause you hate it?

  • @cutlerylover thats the best fucking comeback ive read in a while, kudos to you sir xD made my day

  • @cutlerylover nice vids i love them

  • @whatawookie5000 you've never owned a pocket knife??? well besides trying to kill people with a 2 inch blade... people generally own them for uses when a knife or scissors aren't available. like cutting a string or piece of plastic. just because it can be used as a weapon doesn't make it one

  • @whatawookie5000 What?

  • @whatawookie5000 its a swiss army knife dumbass troll fag its not even a weapon its a Tool

  • @whatawookie5000 its a swiss army knife dumbass troll fag its not even a weapon its a Tool

  • @whatawookie5000 You clearly demonstrate the mental age of a small child yet your profile lists you as '25'; what a special person you must be.

  • @whatawookie5000 God you are the most ignorant retard I've ever heard talk about a knife. Knives are used as a tool, not always a weapon. That's why there isn't a large blade. If you were going to kill somebody with a swiss army knife they would laugh and kick your ass.

  • @benJAMMIN745 hahaha so true if i would try to kill or rob someone i would try it witha kitchen knife not with a pocket knife

  • @whatawookie5000 WTF??? Cocksucker.

  • This is also available on my Victorinox Huntsman :) Never knew this existed. Cool!

  • Just bought this exact same knife, its very good, i like it alot

  • My hiker has it, thanx for lettin` me know!

  • My swiss rugsack doesnt have one.

  • yay

thanks to this video I can has myself a nice little pin stored im my spartan

  • the spartan has it but it's under the corkscrew

  • My corkscrew is so pointy, I think it's part of a needle

  • just got the swiss champ knife. and thankyou mate!

i was struggling for a while comparing the item to the manual sheet, thinking 'where the f*&^ is that pin?'

so mine came with a pin all snug in the scale like yours, except you have to lift the corkscrew out

  • My Tinker knife doesn't have it. I'm guessing that this feature wasn't always a part of the knife and that's the reason, why it's missing at my knife.

I don't remember when i bought my knife exactly, but it must have been easily over 10 years ago.

  • i have a huntsman and its the same

  • I just discovered it on my one, mine doens't have a screwdriver, but a corkscrew there

  • Swisschamp comes with a pin

  • there's a pin hole on the huntsman

  • Wonder why it doesn't come with a pin already in there...

  • Its on the climber aswell - under the corkscrew

  • thats the same same fucking knife that fliped out on me and almost cut my finger off

  • aha, my hunts man has it, I've seen the hole before but I just didn't think anything of it.

    cheers :)

  • 09 Soldier model doesn't have it.

  • My huntsman has is to!!

  • @TiM9fg it does, it's under the corkscrew piece on the back

  • awesome thanks it is on the huntsman blue saffire awesome thx

  • i cant find one of these anywhere

  • i have the huntsman II and it doesnt have it

  • @LJ550 u can find them all over the internet, like amazon or ebay, but im sure that scheels has them in the actual store too

  • I have a knock-off Draper swiss army knife and I modified it to accommodate a straight pin :D, you just take the plastic side off and use a fairly sharp flat-head screwdriver to scrape away a groove, heat a pin and melt the rest of the shape in to being and then glue the side back on. I lost my toothpick, think my next mod will be one of those heh.

  • Where can I find a swisscard? Ive got my regular swiss army knife at target, so should I go there?

  • I was just about to drill a hole in my Climber when I realized it already had one :-) Neither my old Weekend or EvoWood have one though :-(

  • Could you please let me know where to find the magnifier you were using ? and what company it is made of

    Thanks

  • not on the officer swis :(

  • where can i get the victorinox swiss card PLEASE ANSWER ME

  • Mine has it (Victorinox Hunter)

  • anyone who has either a cork twist, screw driver, or any item that is towards the side by its self has the pin hole slot.

  • :O Thanks (: I have a SwissChamp and that has a pin included inside already. Never noticed it there before. Was advertised in the User Guide though as tool no.31

  • Must be the newer year models of Tinker. I had (a Tinker) circa 1991 and it didn't have the pin hole. Good to know!

  • Climber has one, and regular office pin fit perfectly, xD thx for info!

  • not on the wenger serrated backpacker

  • I dont see why its a secret if its advertised

  • trekker doesnt have one :(

  • I knew it was there, but only because I saw one made lol

  • i knew it had it but i thot it was only one model

  • The Trailmaster doesnt have it :(

  • as if the SAK cant hold enough shit altready :P

  • My Super Tinker has it.

  • i have the victorinox workchamp, and it doesn't have the pin D:

  • Handyman has it under corkscrew. My 20+ year old fisherman does not have it under the phillips head though.

  • It's actually a very recent addition to add the pinhole on all of their cellidor scales. The last 2-3 years according to SOSAK. The Plus scales have it and include the straight pin.

  • What knife would you recommend for someone's first SAK????

  • my swiss camper has got this too

  • yes on the sparten there is a spot for a strate pin

  • yes on the sparten there is a spot

  • Explorer has it under the corkscrew

  • SwissChamp XLT has it under the corkscrew.

  • I`m going to buy a Hiker^^

  • I will be getting a handyman soon, i will check.

  • thanks i never noticed that in my huntsman under the corkscrew. i was going to cut a groove in the toothpick to store a pin but no need to now lol.

  • huntsman and climber has it i was just looking over mine and found it the lite models all have it and i magnetised mine as well

  • i just got a hunsman and it has one to thats pretty cool

  • the spartan also has it :-)

  • my SuperTinker has 1 too

  • my huntsman has one too

  • my hiker has it too

  • my handyman does have it!

  • this is on the Victorinox site

    Q. Where is the toothpick and Straight pin located in your Swiss Army knives?

    A. The toothpick is located on one end of the scales on the outside right beside the corkscrew. The straight pin can be found by pulling open the corkscrew and then look straight down where the corkscrew is attached at the base and you will see the head of the pin showing on the edge of the red scales inside. -Swiss Army

  • the climber has it too

  • I don't know if anyone said it yet (not gonna search through every post), but there is one on my Victorionox Fieldmaster. Saw your video and threw a pin with a round head in there. Even without the flat head it fits well with the screwdriver. I am very happy to have learned about this as I carry a Swiss Army Knife with me always. Thanks for sharing.

  • yes i did on the XAVT

  • the hiker has one

  • I have the same knife but there is no hole!

  • mine has one, JUST AS IT IS LISTED IN THE USERS MANUAL. ;-P and what did you do to yours? it looks like you have been using it for hash 'cause of the burned tip... ^^

  • Excuse my comment below lol, but holy crap, I've had my victorinox for years and I doubted mine would have it but sure enough I lifted the corkscrew and there was the included straight pin. :D

  • Holy

  • Mine is a Handyman model. It does not have the hole.

  • The Swiss Army Explorer Plus actually comes with a straight pin right there where the corkscrew (on yours, the phillips screwdriver) is. I just looked at my regular Explorer (not plus) and, lo and behold, it has the slot as well.

  • LOL mine has one now i can count 15 tools Thanks

  • mine pocket knife has a cork screw instead of a screw driver but it has it

  • mine doesnt have it =(

  • My swiss Champ had one included

  • mine has that too i have the same exact one

  • I checked mine (a older model) and its not there but it is broken

  • Yep, I noticed 20 years Ago. :D

  • i have a victorinox explorer and the hole is there under the corkscrew, as soon as i saw this video i checked it and i put a little pin in the hole, just in case i need it

  • Just so you know... in Europe... as far I know...

several victorinox models have thise pinhole's,

but... also with a pin provided. Maybe the USA

customers of Victorinox are getting a bad deal?

  • @004dorla I got my victorinox explorer in switzerland and it didn't come with a pin.

  • i dont no what kind mine is but it is there

  • spartan has it below the corkscrew but will not protect it

  • I found it the first day I received it :D

  • The super tinkerer has it too.

  • i have a victorinox blue swiss army knife, but a bottle opener is where your screw driver is and it also has a pin hole, pretty cool lol

  • @badgerhockey99 It's a super tinker

  • mine has it but idk what model it is. it looks like a tinker but it has another tool next to the screwdriver for carrying packages with twine.

  • I've got a victorinox huntsman, and mine has it.. having said that mines relatively new (3 or so years) and mines the jelly model.

  • I t's actually called "The Swiss Army SwissChamp!" it's pretty cool and well made if I do say so myself... and I do! :)

  • I have a black "Swisschamp" pocket knife I got when I turned 12! It has a pin in it already! it's SO awesome!

  • Camper 1.3613.71 (I bought it this year) has the hole for straight pin, but it could fall out because corkscrew doesn't protect it as well as screwdriver does.

Thanks for showing, I didn't notice it before!

I will tell if Sportsman has that hole soon.

  • Not on the Huntsman.

  • My 20 year old Huntsman with corkscrew does not. I would be curious if the new one with phillips does.

  • I have a Huntsman, and i got a question for you. If the original box has the Black and White packaging box, black top and white bottom, not the silver one wth the red logo, how old is it?

  • @jfkdjfd Truthfully, I don't know. I got the knife when I was 8 years old. The box is long gone, but I still carry the knife daily.

  • THE camper has it (reply)

  • Thank you very much!

  • It's on the swisschamp.

    Also your vids are fantastic.
