1995, when E-40 dropped his major label debut IN A MAJOR WAY. If my memory serves me right, E-40's album dropped the same day as Pac's MATW. E-40 made a big enough buzz that many East Coast cats thought his success was overrated because they didn't feel his style. Biggie, AZ, Rasheed Wallace and a white MC from NY I can't remember his name but he had a line where he said "You better give those wack rhymes to E-40". The East Coast/West Coast beef was very serious in the mid 90's.
