err... R u sure its saveto give them a ruber (bouncy) ball cuz they'll just bite it until it rips (at least thatsnwat i think) if u can then coool cuz they dont like the ball i buyed because its kinda big and the small one is quit heavy so ...

@sarac1 Thats just a case of finding something they're instantly attatched to. Usually anything made of rubber is a hit. XP

My rat ran under my bed with her ball and stashed it there... Naughty girl! I also need a new training area for them so that cant happen again :)

@helloworld00001 You can actually use that to your advantage. If you sit infrount of the bed and fling it in the oposite direction you can then take it from her when she tries to stash it under the bed and give her the treat then-just as I do with the cage. Its the same prosess. I do say something about that in the video I think. ; )

So I am going to begin training this tonight. I have always wanted my girls to fetch. As for the item that my "rats. just. love" I got a rubber ball much like yours, but after giving them the ball they obliterated it in only a couple of minutes. Any suggestions???

The brand is fur blast I believe. I don't remember much it cost but it wasn't the cheepest of cages. Its good quality though and something that has clearly been designed with rats in mind. (For ecample no wire flooring.) The good thing about this cage is the fact that you can rearange the levels and tubes so your rats are always kept stimulated. ; )

Just be sure to give them lots of attention. If your planning to train them wait untill they are fully tamed and are confidet aroud the room. The make awesome pets so have fun ; )

I got that branch from a pet shop in the "bird section" There were lots of different sized branches...(wait thats stating the obvious lol) but anyway they have these screws on the end that you can attatch to the bars of the cage ; )
