I made that comment in response to you saying the Tundra 'a hunk of shit' which it clearly ain't. By your own words you say you underrate the Tundra as well, so nobody knows which stance you're taking either way, you're like a woman, indecisive and can't make up your mind. BTW you'll notice that this is an 07 Tundra, and you're talking about the '10 Silverado... I watched this video RIGHT after I saw the same IIHS tests (front+side impacts) performed on the 07 Sierra/Silverados.. they failed!

All rust problems have been taken care of in later toyotas. They are great trucks and well bulit here in texas.

It's ok to be a fan and proud of GMC, but u shouldn't knock this truck.. it's better engineered, clearly more solid (that's what crash tests prove), and will save ur life! Sure the Silver might haul more or carry more, it's strong to pull and strong to carry, but WEAK from every other side. You'd be fucked in a serious accident, how's the hp and 'rear-end' gonna save you then? hahahha

@malaka1212 id probably just drive over top of ur tundra. its not better engineered.. silverado would in fact save my life since the 2010 silverado did 5 stars for driver and passenger and for roll over. foolish comment? you're under rating the silverado, as i do the tundra at times. both have their ups and downs but ive never had a problem with my chevy and survived a crash in one and drove it away so im not changing.

i've changed thoughts on this truck now. i'm still a ford fan down to the bone, but my second option would be this truck, then the dodge ram comes third. the only thing that i don't like about this truck is the c-fame. i'd rather see this truck having a fully boxed frame.

Its the most reliable full-size pick avaible today, and if you get the enviromental "concious" Flex Fuel V8, you be getting almost 400hp.
