  • Still one of my favorite bands. Awesome stuff.

  • For my tattooed one. Uffy.

  • Most excellent! :)

  • is that nels cline?

  • @flearhcp Nope. Original GF guitarist was Daniel Keenan, Nels joined in 96.

  • Drinking lipstick and tipping bookshelves :)

  • this kicks ass! I'd like to see the missing section!

  • this kicks ass!

  • thats some tasty noise rock.

  • So this is where Amanda Palmer gets her moves from...

  • @GeddonSteve And a bit of her hair...

  • anyone mind if i cough*steal this song?*cough

  • this is bs, where is the whole song!?

  • without a doubt, one of the all-time greatest albums of the 90's and one of my favorites of all-time. i remember seeing this video on 120mins and being completely taken by it. It wasn't until Spin Magazine named it one of their top 20 albums of 1995 that I purchased it. I had never heard anything like it before. It just blew me away. Lilybelle is one of my favorite album openers too. God...so amazing.

  • ya know, if carla bozulich asked me out on a date, i'd have to say yes. i wonder if she likes bowling.

  • such an underestimated band ...

    unfortunately !

  • The Fibbers were a special band. One of the greatest in my opinion. It's a shame they never got the recognition they deserved. Those three albums are magic.

  • Love this track. and album

    Absolute motherfucker of a voice!!!

  • Too bad they edited the song for this video. Still good though.

  • There was a time in my life I could not take this album away from my stereo. I listened to it again and again. Definitely one of my favorite of all time

  • a kiss to geraldine and her lies.... ah, sweet memories of our cowpunk anger.....

  • i wish i could see them live

  • i freaking love this song! bring back good memorys

  • She is holding my Fender Inca Silver American Standard Straocaster guitar from :33-:34

  • I think you need to be a freaky, dramatic, queer writer Romeo/Juliet lover to understand the romance and beauty of the lyrics.

  • Love this song, saw them @ the Metro in Chicago. Still have the disk...

  • I kinda like this sing but the lyrics are ridiculous.

  • really i like the lyrics a lot yet i can be hecka ridiculus ...

  • thanks for posting this

  • I did the original video rip of this song, VHS SP →.wmv→.mpg, in 2003. This higher quality, 40 MB version can be found on eMule.

  • wooah,cool sonic youth dogs at 1:20

  • Carla's amazing, and this song has aged very well.

The cookie-cutter mid-90's alt-rock video though... Looks very dated.

  • 'teach me something/rip out my hair/send me flying/through the air'

    bad ass.

  • i don't think it was just the F word that caused the edit. i think it goes, "fuck do something/rip out my hair/send me flying/through the air"...somethin' like that...maybe too violent(towards women)for the masses? ironic, considering a kick-ass woman wrote the song..

  • Kurt Cobain definitely had this track in mind when he wrote "all apologies".

  • I'm pretty sure "all apologies" came out first.

  • thats my faulty memory for ya. the 90's was a strange time! ;)

  • hehe, i know what you mean =D

  • My fave band from the 90s! Hearing this song always makes me wanna break things...

  • One of my other favorite bands of the 90's. Have and it still rocks my socks......lol

  • YES!!!

You rock almost as hard as Carla Bozulich for posting this. Haven't heard the song since 98...I LOVE the vocal harmonies during the bridge (2:48 to 3:00).

  • Her voice is so raw and expressive and amazing- I love her!

    The whole band is incredible!

  • The beauty of this song (and band) brings tears to my eyes! I lived in LA (their base) during the Fibbers' run and I must say it was exciting. The records were obviously great but the live shows were where the Fibbers really shined. Once Nels jumped on board, an impossibly great band got even better and they appeared poised to take over the world. But alas, it wasn't to be and they broke up at the peak of their game. Sure it's sad, but you have to respect Carla's integrity.

  • Carla makes PJ Harvey look like Kate Bush... no, even better: she makes PJ Harvey Look like Robert Smith.

  • I noticed that the video is missing a portion in the middle were she says, "fucking do something". But, it's OK to, "kick'em all in the family jewels". Nice, just like on real TV.

  • I'm sure the video was edited specifically for TV.

The word fuck on regular TV would obviously cause mass panic and hysteria, and so can never be let loose. Ya know?

  • Literally fell off the couch first time I heard Carla sing! Thank you for posting the video.

  • way cool, i finally see them. i still don't know zilch about them. i have tween earth and home, waited 2 months for it too.great! thanks

  • AMAZING, AMAZING <3

    thanks so much for uploading!

  • gaaah, flashbacks!!! I remember having a sticker of their album on the dashboard of my old plymouth before...good times!!! rock on

  • great vid, fuck mtv, is not a music channel anymore, this youtube is the closest to it, hope digital tv includes youtube broadcasting and the youtube people give my share for this fucking great idea, or ill sue you bitches.

Greetins and love to the geraldine fibbers again, carla come on down to south america and start an alternative project down here, you'll rock.

  • ps...i asked carla to marry me the first show...i was very drunk. she just told me to come to the cleveland show. lol :-D Carla, still love ya! COME TO CINCI!!! I have turned more people onto this band than anyone could imagine. It's going to be like a Pixies reunion in 10 years.

  • Actually, Saw them 3 times live back in the day...all in Cincinnati (and around cinci). Carla talked to me before the show for atleast 45 minutes, and it's a moment to remember. I still have a signed T-Shirt saying "This is Tim's wet dream. -Carla Bozulich" I wear it to this day whenever I go to concerts or King's Island. The original guitarist drew Gene Simmon's on it. lol Saw them with Nels later on, and it was great. Finally got to meet Nel's with Wilco when they visted after the show.

  • greatest band ever but the video is edited...darn!

  • Easily one of the best live bands I've ever seen and I got to see them quite a few times.

After Nels joined they got even better!

  • i completely agree. thanks for uploading!

  • One the greatest 'undiscovered bands'. Carla is sheer genius!

  • yay yay yay! thanks for uploading this - saw it ONCE on 120 Minutes and have been looking for it ever since!
