That is definitely Jools Holland 'interviewing'. This must be from the early 1980s music show 'The Tube' on British tv - one of the flagship programmes for Channel 4 which was launched in 1982. The show was shown at teatime on a Friday and watched mostly by schoolkids and teens. Glad to see his technique has improved somewhat from these inane questions. Maybe he should invite the Bangles onto 'Later' on BBC2 - or maybe they have been on it and I missed it.
