I have astigmatism myself so I kinda know the feeling, but I never really cared for that which is pretty bad. Whole my life I've been acting and it seems that it won't stop. So I must say I really admire how you see life and how are you such an optimist. Also this story with a piece of paper really touched me. I gave up being someone who I wasn't a long time ago, and I'm glad I did. Being a girl, when people see me playing video games or listening to metal they think I'm totally weird and they often shun me. But whatever, I'd rather be myself than have cookie cutter people telling me who or what I should be.

But anyways, sorry to hear about your eye, but you never know there may be hope that it will get better. This video really made me think and reflect on my life atm, so thank you.

Well, my mom knows about this stuff, so I have something that will help. You'll just hate it.

My eyes are bad too (not as bad as you, clearly), and she told me to stop playing video games. They got worse. If you stop playing (for a LONG time; Sorry!) you eyes will repair themselves and thus, you'll have perfect, or near perfect vision. Or you can keep playing games and go blind. Whatever suits your fancy.

She also said to drink flax seed oil (it doesn't really have a taste), about a spoonful.

this was a eye opener for me 2 years back i received news that my other eye was nearly blind and it may go blind in 3 years so i needed glasses and to top that i was bullied very badly and i was going to high school so i didn't want the glasses because of the bullies now im in 8. grade and i still dont have the glasses but now im gonna go tell me mom that i'll take the glasses.

I didn't know not being able to read the E was almost considered legally blind. I haven't been able to read the E since...childhood, I think? My vision has been in the 20/360 range for years. I have astigmatism, too, though it's not horrible (I can still wear contacts). I dunno if you're a big reader (I'm not because I have to read so much for school) but you should read "When Bad Things Happen to Good People" by Harold Kushner. He's a reform Rabbi who wrote this book after his son died...

I really know what you mean with the headline of that video. My best friend died 2 months ago with 16 years because of an uncurable disease, called SSPE. That experience really sharpened my character. Anyways it showed me how lucky everyone of us should be about the little things in life. There´s so much on the world we don´t understand or can´t find reasons for, but when I try to find them, I mostly end up asking myself how I can get angry about a game while other persons would be happy to life

Like I told you, I lived my whole life withe the same problem, my right eye is my bad eye... I only see less then 10% with it, Its all kinda blurry like you discriped... Keep wearing your glasses, and you will be alright! Nothing can pop in your eye when there glass for it... I need glasses just for that.... (at work and such)

I loved this commentary because I when i was younger I was really afraid of dying and what happens after it. but then i thought that everyone is gonna die and everyone is on their on own journey. maybe they want to be alone on this journey maybe with someone they love. I know not many can compare to my example, but taking pathology and gross anatomy really gave me a somewhat 'realistic' though not at all pessimistic look on life. Realising how easily you could die probably tomorrow, or in a few days or so, in so many ways without knowing makes you focus and plan out what you want to do in life (i.e. I stopped fucking around as much as really started enjoying life in a different way). My 2c.

In all seriousness, I have astigmatism in both eyes, though very mild compared to you and it freaked me out when I first found out.

Anyway, you have a good eye in case you completely go blind in that other eye which i doubt. Not to be an ass or anything but listening to you talking about going blind and talking about death and the afterlife was depressing which seems to be the completely opposite effect you're trying to have :P.
