Look.. I could care less if Freddie was gay or not... point is he was TALENTED and a FANTASTIC MUSICIAN.

This tribute captures the essenence that was Freddie.. atleast from a fan's point of view. The video may/may not represent the TRUE Freddie.. but performance wise, no-body, can entertain the way Fred did... maybe the only who comes close is Robbie Williams.. but still... there is only ONE Freddie Mercury!

Let me start by saying that I was too young to fully enjoy Freddie Mercury and Queen.. (but thank GOD for older brothers and sisters that introduced me to them. Freddie was a musical genius and ONE of the ultimate stage performers. He sure did know how to get a crowd pumping. There isnt an artist today(except perhaps Robbie Williams and U2) that can illicit the response from a crowd like Freddie could.

The guy is a English comedian Kenny Everett from the 80s. He unfortunately also died from AIDS him and Freddy were believed to be sexually involved its probably a clip fron the Kenny Everett show which was a popular show over here in England in the early 1980s

he didn't write this song. It was written by Buck Ram and was #1 hit in 1956 and have had many covers since then one of them being Freddie's. Well Freddie sang it in 1987, the exact date or year of him finding out he was ill is unknown (at least to fans), but from what his lover says Freddie knew he had AIDS in 1987. So it's highly probable he knew when he was singing that.
