I agree, I am also disappointed with the message that it is technology itself that has perpetuated the cycle of humans destroying humanity.

Seriously it should have been more about HOW technology is used. That would have been a lesson more indicitive of the themes in the show.

But whatever, it was an awesome finale and an awesome tv show, probably my favorite ever.

well the ending of this series was a major dissapointment, there were many other endings that could have gave this series a better farewell. Too bad the producers and the writers ran out of ideas.

ok this is my ending to this series and its a shocking but, very memorable ending. they arrive at earth but, its populated with cylon skin jobs but, they dont realize it until it is too late adama and the rest of the human race die and are replaced with cylon skin jobs as baltar and the six look on and proclaim now GOD is perfect.

doctor who tops the sci fi wizards list of the greatest sci fi shows at number 1 it beat battle star galectica and star trek because this show has been on tv for forty years and will be on tv for forty more sorry doctor who kicks all ass!

I love the old doctor who. It's the new doctor who i cannot stand. Overacting kills me. Two actors trying to be Tom Baker ie Zany. Baker was naturally zany. It's similar to a young man in a club who's thing is "I'm mad me. I'm mad" ie fake eccentricity. I think Traughton was the best. McCoy would have been good if her could have excecuted his choices. I liked his acting choices and characterisation but he couldn't act like Paul Darrow

the acting on the new doctor who is brilliant! david tennant excelled in his role as the doctor as a devoted fan i will miss him but, season five of doctor who is going to be a major turning point in the new series big changes are ahead and i think you will change your mind about the current series.

It's Tennant's comedy acting that i hate. It makes me wince and turns my stomach. Being funny and real at the same time is very hard. Peter Kay was outstanding as max in max and paddy when he met his son. He played a really broad character yet he had depth in his eyes in that scene.

Have you ever seen Babylon 5? Peter Jurassic would be a great Doctor.

thats odd most people love his sense of wit as the doctor i know i do. he reminds me of the third, fourth, fith,and seventh doctor rolled into one and yes i have seen babylon five who hasnt? it was a great sci fi show a refreshing change from the mediocrity of star trek and much better than battle star galectica too which is much too militaristic for my taste. that inquistor bloke that worked for the vorlons from the 18th century would make an excellent twelth doctor.

I found both 'doctor who' shows to be immensely confusing. The storyline bounces around way too much. I can understand why, but it just makes the show very confusing. The only scifi show I've watched that bounces around so much and actually works is Quantum Leap.

Also, You can't clean the slate just by destroying technology. Eventually cities would have to be created unless everyone decided to become nomadic. Still I am going to miss the show

First of all I'd like to say that I love this show, however the end was far too loose and full of holes.

Even if humans would & could give up technology, concepts such as electricity, gravity, physics fluid dynamics would survive from one generation to another.. does this end mean that they stop teaching their kids about gravity, science etc ?? Wouldn't this constitute a tremendous violation of what we are as a species?

If we are descended from a bunch of folks who all spoke english [and use french words such as rendezvous, latin, greek, viking], why are there other lanquages apart from the ones that contribute a lot to English: latin, french, greek, norse etc They even write in English using the Roman alphabet.

consider the fact that there were already humans here. Presumably, pre-existing tribes may still have lived on in isolated areas and not really made contact with the colonials until much later on, leaving more than enough time for other languages to develop.

I still think it was a bad idea destorying the pegasus so early on after it arrived, i wonder what that switch does shown being truned at the end of the promo, probably a self destruct, there wont be any silly ramming speed stuff in this after all, apollo excels at crashing useful equipment.

I remember back to season one's finale (I think it was 1) when there was that prophecy in the Opera House that said ONLY a Model Six, Baltar and Hera would survive. Everyone else would die. I wonder if that is how the show wil end after all.

From what I heard from Edward James Olmos' interviews, DayBreak Pt. 2 is VERY dark and that "not very many of [them] make it". An end, but a beginning. and that we will be in awe of how it all falls into place at the end of this episode (or was it after the movie "The Plan", can't remember. Anyways, holy shite! "you will be in tears" apparently.
