@PegasoltaEclair Not to say that I didn't enjoy playing MMX6... I just wish they'd thought of a more logical way of reintroducing Zero and Sigma, and making the time frame more consistent with one of the endings. If you're referring to the ending in which X defeats Sigma with Zero's memory and is seen holding his saber, then the time frame of MMX6 is off by 2 years, and 11 months. It's things like that that make it obvious that there was conflicting interests during development.

@PegasoltaEclair MMX5 being the planned ending isn't my idea or some outlandish thought that I'm proclaiming... Originally Keiji Inafune, the illustrator and co-designer of the character, Mega Man, had originally intended for the series' plot to end at MMX5 and had begun development on the Rockman Zero series, in order to elaborate more on Zero. As for the multiple endings, I believe the endings were ONLY illogical in a sense that Zero's death was abrupt (if you defeated Sigma with him).

what a noob, that is on easy mode, try to`play it on xtreme mode, there are a lot more lasers and much more enemies plus you take a lot more damage

What happens when you pick up the viruses as X? Because as Zero, picking up the Zero virus restores your health.

This stage is similar to quickman and the boss is Shadow devil who can transform into a Williy machine

int the third stage you see the W of Willy in the bacground

In the final stage when fight sigma you see the capsule and a disegn of Zero (also x)

You prolly died a lot when you beat all 8 mavericks and still get Maverick Zero. The amount of times you died changes the outcome of the colony destruction as well

@Pie4U56 it's completely random when you kill all eight bosses. if you dont get the ending type you want, restart the game after saving after the last boss you beat, and it may change.

I find everything after MMX5 useless and so it just doesn't mean as much to me. Like in MMX6... where the hell did Sigma come back from? He was COMPLETELY irrelevant up until the very end.

That's illogical in my opinion. There's only one ending that is considered as canon, the one I had recorded long ago. All the other endings are meaningless, thus useless.

Sigma coming back isn't surprising either (if you don't think that from X6 to CM is useless), in every X-series game, he has complicated ways of reborning/resurrecting.

To be specific, pretty sure X takes damage if you pick up too many in a short period. Zero, on the other hand, gets more powerful, becoming invincible for a little. I don't believe there are any long term effects from overuse of this.

If you want Zero to stay normal you must beat the Mavericks in this order: dark dizzy, the skiver, mattrex, axle the red, grizzly slash, duff mcwhalen, squid adler, izzy glow. If you defeat the ones carrying Enigma parts first, he will become maverick

Not really. I defeated the Mavericks in this order:

Grizzly Slash, Izzy Glow, Duff Mcwhalen, The Skiver, Axle the Red, Dark Dizzy, Mattrex, Squid Adler.

And he stayed normal. Did I influence it by failing to destroy the colony with the Enigma with 6 hours left and only defeating six of the eight Mavericks before the launch?

Trsut me, I know, If he turns a Maverick he sacrifices himself and dies when Sigma tries to attack X. After Sigma is defeated (AGAIN! XD), Dr. Light deletes these painful memories about Zero.

He has been created by Dr. Wily. Wily put a virus into Zero's forehead crystal, which was called Zero Virus, and Zero was an Irregular until the virus was there. When Sigma destroyed it, it fused with his program, creating the Sigma Virus. Here, Sigma created a Colony Virus, Dynamo took the virus to the Colony, and when the two viruses meet, they formed the original Zero Virus. This Virus could awaken Zero's true identity.
